I saw that you asked in the meta analysis thread what episode the Milhouse knife picture is from. To avoid making a pointless post with no substance in that thread, I'll just tell you here: It's "A Tree Grows in Springfield."
Welcome to NHC! Ласкаво просимо! Looking forward to seeing you around. :D
I don't quite remember Miracle on Evergreen Terrace but I'll have to give it a watch and see if I agree!

Thank you!
It's not for everyone, but if you like the bitter vibe of "My Sister, My Sitter," and "Some Enchanted Evening" you'll probably appreciate it. I like their decision to do the inverse of "Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire," and I found that the more I watched this episode, the more I enjoyed it, plus that "Santa on his way" sweet ending. Classic moment.
Out of curiosity, have you seen Craig of the Creek & Hilda? Curious what your thoughts on those shows are

Its a good show, I'd highly recommend it. Its in my Top 5 series of all time (my TV series ranking is filled with mostly animated series, the only live action series that are there is the Disney+ MCU/Star Wars originals & Stranger Things)
Why does your profile picture show Marge holding a gun?

I'm not that fond of guns, but that moment with Marge at the hairdresser's in "The Springfield Connection" always amused me. I liked the aspect of Marge looking badass and then kind of feeling awkward at the same time. Personally, I have 4 favorite Marge scenes in the show. This is one of them.

Okay. Anyway, welcome to NHC.
Hey guys, I know this is a Simpsons forum but I just wanted to say that I’ve started watching Bleach! I will say that the Soap Society arc was really good but I think the Thousand-Year Detergent War arc is better tbh. I didn’t like the Clorox arc that much. I know the Laundry Rebellion arc is non-canon but I like it anyway
Hey there, this is so stupid and random but - I thought you might possibly appreciate this like I am 😂

In "Yellow Subterfuge," Skinner whips out a list of students' (and staff's) names to cross out from his field trip list.

(I am currently making a replica of this list, to print out as a prop for my Skinner cosplay.)

While I was typing, i noticed one of the students is named "Tatiana Korolenko"!!!! 😮Doesn't that sound like a Ukrainian name?!?!
Boy, would it be awesome to have a canonically Ukrainian student at Springfield Elementary!!! Aaaah! I wonder what writer added that in. Anyway, very random little detail but it made me smile. I hope they show Tatiana one day!

OHHHH i LOVE Tanya's design! Thank you so much Misogi for sharing that! Wonder why she wasn't used. So stylish. I will headcanon that Tanya and Tetiana are one and the same!
Ah thanks Bohdan for the clarification - when I heard Korolenko that's what really made it stand out for me! And good to hear that the Tetiana name is a bit different!
And speaking of story ideas, I've been loving your story ideas thread! :D

She looks like a younger version of Marge

@dave2009 In all honesty, I had the same thought as soon as I saw her. I think it's the hair mostly which makes me think of a teenage 60s hippie Marge. Even though I know kid Marge is somehow just a tinier version of her adult self (thinking of the corn-field moment). I guess that's probably why the above character was scrapped even though she's a cool looking character. Maybe if they changed her hair color from blue to a different dark color and simplified her by removing an accessory or two, she could have remained?

Ah, that honestly makes sense, Kotaku has pretty much gone to sh*t from what I've heard
Been thinking of doing a post on the meta thread examining Skinner's relationship with Bart. Because it feels like one of those classic relationships which the show just....lost track of.

Heck yeah!!!! Thanks for thinking of me and posting to my wall! :D I was going to write an extremely long winded reply to this, but I suppose I'll save it for the meta thread! Please tag me in case I miss it!
Joey Jo-Jo Jr. Shabadoo appreciation post!

Hopefully the guy could replace Larry, or get respect for his name. Maybe both.
Does it make me a bad person that I giggled when I saw my brother's new haircut that makes him look like Bart Simpson?

I'd describe him as... an incredibly casual viewer of the Simpsons at most. He does seem to like the show well enough when he sees it, but it's not something he'd typically choose to put on of his own will. There's only maybe two of us in my family who are particularly into it I'd say. (And only one nutty enough about it to spend her time hanging around a Simpsons message board :P )

As for how the haircut actually looked, picture light blonde hair cut very short except for at the top where the small amount of length left has been spiked straight up and you're there.

(Also, that's very sweet of you to say I resemble Lisa personality wise! Not entirely sure it's true though since, you know, Lisa's smart o_O )

HAHHA, if hanging around a Simpsons message board is nutty then I'm absolutely legumed 🤣
I think my own older brother is similar, as well as my older sis. They both liked the Simpsons a lot growing up as immigrants in America, but if they realized the extent to which I am obsessing over the show right now as a 25-year-old I doubt they'd understand. I think they'd just stare blankly at me while I go crazy talking about Bumblebee Man lore or something. Well, I'll get to see their lukewarm reaction this weekend after I send them cosplay pics LOL.
Oh my, the way you describe it is EXTREMELY Bartish!
And aww, of course, to me the resemblance in personality is extremely obvious! And hey *Bostonian voice* I think you're wicked smaht! (I never watched Good Will Hunting but I guess I'm referencing it anyway.)

Ha ha I think we might not be alone in being "Simpsons legumed" on here to be fair. 🥜

Oh I can relate so much to the whole about "your siblings not realising the extent of the obsession thing"! All my family used to watch it (although even back in my youngest days I was easily the one who was most drawn in by those funny yellow people), but now it's just me and one younger brother (different brother; I've got four of 'em) who still tune in regularly and even he'd start backing away from me in terror if I ever started blurting out the full depths of my thoughts on Lisa Simpson in the real world.

(Not seen Good Will Hunting either so that reference is kinda over my head, but it still made me laugh. Also aww thank you! It really is a compliment to be called Lisa-ish in any way. :aww: )
What if Homer smoked crack?

What the fuck?! I mean, it IS a new episode concept, but Homer got stoned in "Weekend at Burnsie's". Also, Stan Smith smoked crack one time (season 5 episode 11).

Put it in the What If thread lol! I remember the time Homer was really into marijuana.
Have a Casagrandes related question, what is your opinion of the Changs?
Curse You Magic Beans
Curse You Magic Beans
I like them they're honestly more entertaining then The Casagrandes themselves as weird as it sounds Carl and Adelaide are pretty cute together Mr. Chang having a job on a train reminds me of Homer and the Monorail a lot and Sid is just overall a great friend and definitely one of my favorite characters of the franchise TBH I like her more than Clyde as a sidekick

The Original's Still Better in every single way but IDK I feel like TTG gets unessascary hate at times and sometimes produces a good episode or make a good joke here and there

Yeah, I will admit that while I was part of that hate when it aired initially, that hatred has basically vanished. I still don't like it and probably won't watch it anytime soon, but who knows, someday I might. I will say, I have seen Ravager's character design in the series and it looks pretty cool.
