Are there any specific lines from the show that live in your head rent free because of the way the line was delivered for me Dan’s reading of “Haven’t you Haven’t you Look at me from Brother From The Same Planet is so perfect

It's bliiiiiiiiiissss

It's a pornography store. I was buying pornography. He makes it sound so casual.

Yup yup. So, I'm gonna go for a very odd and wildcard pick and this is gonna sound weird: Skinner yelling "SIMPSOOOOON" in principal Charming. I get really skittish when I hear people yelling IRL but I think that's the only time I've gotten a similar reaction from a tv show of all things. So, that's really impressive.

Or I guess for a funnier example:

Oh, the rage feels so real. Again that's really hard to do in acting let alone when doing a voice. Honestly if I added more most of it would be Skinner moments.

Yeah I agree the screams must’ve felt really hard to do

Lisa's Blair Witch Project moment in 'The Ziff Who Came To Dinner' is a great one after the classic era (also love the "Aaah! Bones!!!" when she step on the rat skeleton and noticed it). Really show a fair bit of Yeardley's range.

I rewatched bits of 'Itchy and Scratchy and Marge' (for the first time in the original version, I believe), and for some reasons Alex Rocco's Roger Myers Jr. stood out, I especially love the delivery of his lines when he reads the many many angry letters (couldn't find the clip on YT). He sounds silently but genuinely hurt by the insults and threats ("Wow, that's cold") and then defeated when he comes to his conclusion ("Gentlemen, the screwballs have spoken"). Great performance.

His excellent performance in I&S&M made me glad that Oakley & Weinstein cared enough to bring him back for the 'Itchy & Scratchy' episodes in their seasons instead of just having Hank Azaria fill in for the character.

So many great lines and line deliveries by him in this roler: I think that his rant on how animation is built on plagiarism in The Day The Violence Died' is another great one (it also has one of my favorite, underrated meta jokes on the show).

I’m sure there’s a lot more, but Homer in these two scenes (and also Barney in the second one) are two of my all-time favorites:

Edit: 3 more personal favorites I just remembered!

Couldn't find a clip, but Barney's "oh my god!! You fell on Aerosmith!!!" in Flaming Moe's

Just thought of the barbecue pit scene from 'Mom And Pop Art'. Truly one of those scenes with Dan Castellaneta at his best as Homer.

I especially love the "Why doesn't mine look like that!?!". It's the perfect combination of disappointment, frustration, anger & a bit of sadness.

Also the "Stupid Lisa!" with the fist shake always get me :lawl:

Ooh my god that's an amazing choice Dan's performance is amazing

Harry Shearer's performance gets me every time. "There'll be plenty of apples for you...Nobody will take away your precious apples!"
