I don't even remember. It was too long ago.

There are episodes I remember vividly from my childhood such as Marge be not Proud and Deep Space Homer though.

-Season 23, Episode 9: "Holidays of Future Passed"
Lisa: Sometimes i wish strangling your kid was still legal.
Marge: Not since they passed Homer's Law.
-Season 21, Episode 13: "The Color Yellow"
    Lisa: We're 1/64 black!
Bart: So that's why I'm so cool.
Lisa: And that's why my jazz is so smooth.
-Homer: And that's why I earn less than my white co-workers.
Lisa: Our family was on the underground railroad.
Bart: We ran a subway station?
Lisa: No, the underground railroad was a bunch of people that helped slaves escape to Canada. There were no actual trains and it wasn't underground.
Bart: Then they should have called it the "above ground normal road."
    Homer: Good point, Bart.
Lisa: I never thought of that before.
    Marge: Very good, Bart.
-Season 21, Episode 7: "Rednecks and Broomsticks"
Lisa: I am interested in learning more about Wicca. Are you a minority group as defined by Ivy League admissions?
    Wiccan: Cornell and Dartmouth.

As a young child, I usually didn't watch the show, but somehow I happened to catch a lot of the older Halloween episodes, although I cant remember precisely which one I saw first.

First Regular Episode: Two Cars In Every Garage, Three Eyes On Every Fish - Watched it on November 1st 1990 (The day it first aired)

Homerpalooza because my brother wanted to see the Smashing Pumpkins. I did not expect to like the show as much as I did, I found it really funny and even sweet Homer getting shot with a cannon to impress his family and seem hip.

Simpsons Roasting On An Open Fire. Been here from the beginning.
Do you kids wanna be like the real U.N., or do you just wanna squabble and waste time?

  25. #52

Probably one of the Season 1 episodes on those VHS boxsets The Best of the Simpsons (which featured two episodes and then a Tracey Ullman short.) I also own the third boxset (Season 2) and fourth boxset that has episodes from season 3. I no longer have the actual box but the tapes still are in their cases. It's hard to tell which episode I saw first since I've watched these tapes a lot. I also have the Christmas episode on VHS (Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire.) The first episode I saw when it premiered was Lisa the Simpson since that was when my mom started recording the show for us to watch. I don't remember how old I was at the time.

First one I remember watching was the very first Tree House of Horror, and I will always remember the third and final segment The Raven because I remember watching it during English class when I was in school.

I started right at the beginning with Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire.
I have seen the first two minutes more times than any other point in the series.

Ah heck, probably something from season 1. Tough to know when you watch these things hundreds of times.

I'll go with... Bart the Genius. Green bare-assed Bart was a weird thing to see on TV.

I first saw Thursdays with Abie while peeping in on my sister and grandma watching it during its first airing, I only saw a bit of the stuffed animal subplot.

The first episode I saw in full was Bart the Daredevil.
