It's average at best, it does have William H. Macy and Sam Neil returns. It also has some interesting new dinosaurs and the Raptor's have an updated look, the story though is pretty weak.

    Sounds like a meh movie

William H. Macy's son is parasailing near the sight B island and gets hung up in the trees. Macy dupes Sam Neil by asking him to be tour guide of the islands and maybe show him and his wife some dinosaurs from an airplane. In reality it is to rescue his son, the rest writes itself.

I actually think both the Lost World and Jurassic Park 3 are underrated. Are they as good of films as the original? Nope. But as a popcorn fun movie I think they did its job well.

At least when I watched them in the theatres back in the days.

never seen 3, but lost world is a pretty much brain-dead stupid flick that demands you put zero thought into the proceedings

painfully idiotic and visually not even close to as captivating as the original

I actually agree with you but I still love the second movie. It's damn entertaining despite its faults.

Hmm... Fury appears to be on the run from Shield. My thoughts? I personally think that Maria Hill has taken over as commander of Shield, putting Fury on the run. Also, the fact that the movie appears to be taking place in DC. You know what else is in DC? The president, the government. You know what the government and DC have to do with Marvel Comics? The Superhuman Registration Act. That's right. I think that this is setting up the Civil War for Avengers 2. Sure, it was confirmed months ago that Thanos would be in Avengers 2, but what seems more likely? Have their biggest baddie show up earlier than necessary? Or have him just bind his time until after the Civil War (Avengers 3), when the Avengers are at their weakest, exhausted and still trying to get over the life-altering effects of the Civil War? Remember how Marvel tricked us with The Mandarin in Iron Man 3? I think that they did the same thing when they confirmed Thanos for Avengers 2.

Yeah, should be good. The comic was. Some shit's going down in this one. The MotherFucker and his team of Toxic Mega Cunts mean business.

I haven't read the comics but I really liked the first movie. That's saying something because I generally find superhero movies to be boring. I could never get into comics or anything like that. Looking forward to the sequel, though.

Did you ever see Watchmen, @Knightboat? If not, I would highly recommend that as well.

I never saw it. I used to have a copy of it on a hard drive but it failed and I lost about the first 10gb of my movie collection.

That was a few years ago now. It wasn't too bad though, 10gb wasn't much of what I had. I think one of my flatmates has it on DVD.

I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry while watching that trailer...how is it even possible to play something like this completely straight?
