Ugh. I'm one of those guys that needs a physical copy of a show like the Simpsons to watch it.

See, to me it doesn't make a difference, except the space issue. I have a TV with a USB port on it, so I can just watch the files on my hard drive straight off the TV. I lose out on some special features sure, but a lot of the stuff contained within them can be found on the Internet.

Of course I do run the risk of losing all my files(it's really not that hard to do so), or have them corrupted like i already said has happened to me, but like I said I do have the DVDs, its just a matter of me going back home to claim them. Plus I could just re download them.

I currently own seasons 1-11. I'm hoping to eventually complete my collection, but I'm a bit reluctant to continue immediately because I really didn't care for the latter half of season 11.

I own the seasons 3-7 boxsets and season 11 in individual discs.

I used to have season 10, but well...I got so mad with that season, I had to sell it before something horrific would happen with my neighbour's chainsaw...

I own seasons 1 to 14 + Season 20 + Movie. Looking forward to picking Season 15 up on December 5th (release date in France).

Some of my Seasons aren't in very good condition. I've worn out my Seasons 6 and 7 on DVD. One of the discs in my Season 6 boxset has a big crack on it (but for the moment it's still playing in my DVD player ; so I'm happy). Seasons 2, 3 and 4 are the next boxsets that are starting to get pretty worn out.

My Seasons 8 to 14 are in very good condition. I've taken out the discs from Seasons 11 to 14 + 20 and have put them somewhere else (where they have more protection). Hope that they'll be coming back to the boxsets of Seasons 6 to 10 when we get to Season 16 (the protection was much better).

    I own season 1 to 14 + season 20 and the movie.

They are in good condition except maybe the box set of season 8 because there is a lots of scratch on it and the first CD of season 11 but it stills work.

I don't own any DVDs or Blu-ray. It's purely from PVR recording so it's very difficult for me to watch episodes I haven't seen before.

1-12. I don't know much about the seasons after that, but reading around here I may go up to season 15. It seems to be that some fans agree that 13-15 are truly the last enjoyable seasons.

Would it be so terrible if I said that I had a not completely legal copy of seasons 1-22?

I own all of them. Although I really wish that they would stop doing the type of packaging that they've been doping since the Season 11 box set, because it is really easy for the DVDs to become scratched, and it really iritates me.

As of today, 1-15 on DVD plus the movie on DVD and bluray.

I also bought the season 20 DVD off ebay, but it ended up being a bootleg. I went after the guy for a refund and tried to get him banned. Didn't get a refund, but I did get his account taken down. Problem was, he wanted me to ship it back to him for a refund, but shipping would cost $6 and I spent $12 on the damn thing. So in the end, I'd waste a drive to the post office, lose an hour of my life, and spend $6 of my own money just to get $12 back.

I pick up every season. Back in my college years it was tough, because I was poor. But now I have the funds to buy things, so its a lot easier now. Plus, the show only releases a season a year (sadly) so it's insanely easy to justify spending $30 a year on Simpsons DVDs.

I did, however, have to cancel my pre-orders for Finding Nemo on blu-ray and The Dark Knight Trilogy due to Simpsons and MST3K also releasing today.

Volume 25 of the DVD sets! Has some pretty rare movies, in that there was no way in hell Universal would allow these episodes to be released until just recently:

110- ROBOT HOLOCAUST with short: COMMANDO CODY PT 9
508- OPERATION KID BROTHER (aka OPERATION DOUBLE 007)
    615- KITTEN WITH A WHIP
    801- REVENGE OF THE CREATURE

Bad robot movie, exploitation film, Universal Monster movie and a James Bond rip-off starring Sean Connery's brother in a goatee.

I own Seasons 1 - 15 on DVD and the Movie on blu-ray. I was thinking of getting Season 20 imported but I don't think it is worth it, especially as you know they will probably re-release with special features.

I own Seasons 1 through 14 on DVD, plus the movie and Season 20... and what I don't have on official DVD release, I have on VHS or DVD-R.

I think it was Boots who said he was going to stop buying the season sets new. I'm thinking the same thing. I'll probably buy them used, but I'll be damned if I'm going to dish out the dosh for these sets now. Just not worth it anymore....
