C'mon hammster at this time last year Blackpool and Blackburn were the top two. The current standings don't mean much right now.

You'll definitely challenge for the play-offs, hence why I put you 7th/8th. If you are in them it wouldn't be a shock.

THAT IS WHY I SAID RESPECTABLE FROM YOU

Was expecting you to say bottom half or something. Anything in the top ten is what I expect.

Well if I had to make standings...

Top 6 I already told you.
7th-10th: Leeds, Leicester, Derby, Wednesday (I wouldn't be surprised to see any of them make the play-offs)
11th-14th: Brighton, QPR, Burnley, Bournemouth (the middle of the pack. Could go up, go down...but I think they're simply the average teams of the league)
15th-18th: Blackburn, Charlton, Huddersfield, Birmingham (they'll struggle but they should be fine. I thought Charlton could have been underdogs this term but they've had a rubbish transfer window)
19th-21st: Blackpool, Doncaster, Barnsley (could well go down, but I think they'll do just enough)
22nd-24th: Middlesbrough, Yeovil, Millwall (I don't rate Lomas, Yeovil will fall down but will give it a go, Middlesbrough to be the surprise package to go down since Mowbray is losing the plot IMO and their squad is rather weak)
    In no real order.

We won today and my god it was a great game. High tempo, nerve-wreaking, great goals, both managers being sent off, physical showdowns, amazing atmosphere at Stade Saputo, late winner...ooof.

Fuck anyone who doesn't love this sport. Games like this are the reason I love this fucking sport! I need to lay down!

I have plenty of areas to fix but yeah, RVP means I have some time.

HOHOHOHOHO we just won 5-0 tonight. (Di Vaio x2, Felipe, Brovsky, Pisanu)

Absolutely buzzing! I hope Adam Moffat and Bobby Boswell died inside because of that result!
Di Vaio now has 15 league goals to his name. Only needs 13 more from 10 matches to break the record!

I've not even done a fantasy team this year. Always have done but in the past I've lost interest in following my points and stuff after the first month.

Group A: Manchester United, Shakhtar Donetsk, Bayer Leverkusen, Real Sociedad

Group B: Real Madrid, Juventus, Galatasaray, Copenhagen

Group C: Benfica, Paris St-Germain, Olympiakos, Anderlecht

Group D: Bayern Munich, CSKA Moscow, Manchester City, Viktoria Plzen

Group E: Chelsea, Schalke, Basel, Steaua Bucharest

Group F: Arsenal, Marseille, Borussia Dortmund, Napoli

Group G: Porto, Atletico Madrid, Zenit St Petersburg, Austria Vienna

Group H: Barcelona, AC Milan, Ajax, Celtic

not a good one for Arsenal or Celtic while Chelsea get their usual piss-easy draw and United have an interesting group. City should make it through theirs but I imagine Bayern will have them easily.

Hearing Arsenal are in advanced talks with Ozil. If Wenger pulls that off, it's a shit day for Spurs.

Worried about Moyes at this extremely premature stage?

@Pops (wasn't there another Wolves fan on the board?), hear we might be exchanging Waghorn for Doyle, how is he these days? Remember him being a force in the Prem with Reading. Waggy will do a job for you in League One

not really, just annoyed that we always without exception play shite at Anfield and they treat it like their cup final so we get turned over quite often

The moving tribute to Bill Shankly motivated the Kop I'm sure but Moyes does have a pathetic record in big games, both for Everton and Man Utd (thus far).

Hey guys. Me and @Dobbie are in a sorta online FM type game called Soccer Manager. Y'all should join our league. To do that (sorry, it is a little convoluted):
Sign up and you should be greeted by a screen like this:

Select a country and then a club to manage (if you only want to be in mine and Dobbie's game, you will resign from this club later so don't worry too much).
Once you are in click on the account button in the top right and then profile. Then select "Clubs" from the top. Now "Add Club" and "Club Search".
After this, go to the drop down menu under Game World Name Search and select England, search this ID "29063".
We're picking clubs in the Championship.

Then if you wish to resign from your old club, navigate back to the clubs section of your profile and click "x".
Convoluted but Dobbie assures me that this game is fun.

starting Giggs and Ashley fucking Young is what did it, honestly I could only beat Liverpool on FM but I reckon I could put out a better line-up with our fit players:

    De Gea

Valencia (done better as a sort of wing-back than as a winger recently when played there)
    Vidic
    Rio
    Evra

    Carrick
    Cleverley

Nani (though tbf don't know how fit he is)
    Kagawa
    Welbeck

    RVP
