Birdemic: Shock and Terror - 2.5/5

The best worst movie of all time. I liked it for the unintentionally comedic moments, horrible editing and special effects which left me laughing in tears. The horrible acting was hilarious too. But these factors are also what lets the film down. So I went 50/50 on this one, and rated it in between.

Alien 3 - slightly disappointing but it was clearly never going to be a good as the first 2. sigourney weaver is still great though.

As Good as it Gets - a bit of an odd one, loved the acting but the story was a bit messy.

An utterly bizarre little movie, Observe and Report has an offbeat sense of humour that I must admit I'm a sucker for. It has this brutal and often dark sensibility that you can see in films like American Psycho and Goon. It must be said that the style doesn't always work as there are patches that desperately need a release of tension, but when it does hit, it hits hard.

Fuck it, I'll admit it; Mean Girls is a guilty pleasure of mine. I remember when I first saw Mean Girls and I was adament that I wasn't going to like it. Quite surprisingly, my expectations were exceded. It's actually a smart little teen comedy that contradicts its marketing campaign advertising it as another airhead comedy. Sure, the inevitable 'blonde' humour is there, but it works well.

You'd think a feature length modification of a beloved '60s comedy television series would be as funny as its source material, but you'd be wrong. So very wrong. Then again, it serves me right for watching a movie involving Dwayne Johnson.

    The Legend of Hell House(1973)

The horror seems a bit "soft" in this day and age but I'd say it was a decent enough watch.

Silence of the lambs - Thoroughly enjoyable, every character was really interesting, and a genuinely disturbing and intriguing plot.

Eraserhead - wtf did I just watch? some superb moments but mainly a lot of nothing. very minimalist

This really terrible Cinemax adult movie about a bimbo college student named Prudence who's searching for Bigfoot.

A taut boardroom thriller that'll have you invested from beginning to end.
