I wasn't too keen on the animation at 1st either but it quickly grew on me. It was 'Sacred Cow' that made me love the show the way I do now.

The only character i'm not a huge fan of is Gene. He's too stupid and a little one dimentional. I hope they develop him more.

They will hopefully in "The Unbearable Like-likeness of Gene". Gene isn't particularly funny as a character, but some of the stuff he says at times is quite cute.

Yeah. He plays off Louise quite well. I don't like him on his own though.

Nah, on hos own he's just your bog standard noisy middle child, a bit boring really. Tina works really well on her own though. There was a moment in season 1 when she's threatening another girl in her class with violence for speaking to Jimmy Jr. and she says something like ".....and I will hit you again and again and again and again and again and again........". The fact from behind the classroom door after everybody has left had me in stitches.

Linda's 'traumatic' Zili flashback in the same episode got me rolling too.

Tina's probably my favourite character in the show.

Tina, then Linda, Bob, and Louise.

The whole Tom Selleck fantasy is one of my favourite Linda moments.

Yeah, I also like the fact that she's such a pushover at times, and her ill advice about the 'friend fiction' to Tina was gold.

on a slightly unrelated note I think I'm getting a crush on Kristen Schaal, she's cute!

People were unbelievably cruel to this show when it started, but I can definitely see why.

It was probably because of the animation style and the humour being so gentle compared to the other shows on FOX, glad to see it's finally getting the love it deserves though.

Exactly. Subtle/tame humour doesn't sit well with most of the 12 year olds who only laugh if Homer gets hurt or Peter farts.

I thought the pilot was pretty awful and it turned me off for a long while until it was on Netflix. Pretty much how it went for me with American Dad. I always catch the bad episodes of shows and stop watching them.

I think subtle is the better term for the humour they use. It's occasionally rude (the viagra joke, for instance), but they approach it in a different way than a show like Family Guy would, so it doesn't really seem offensive so much. In fact, I find that on Bob's Burgers, the occasional rude joke thrown in can make scenes even funnier!

Yeah, I bet with a few edits hither and thither it'd even be suitable to broadcast on a kid's network, thus getting even more fans. Not that I don't like the rude humour, Gene shouting out "BEEF CURTAIN" nearly cost me a laptop!

I think Season 3 will be the most memorable season of Bob's Burgers, considering the number of episodes, impressive ideas they have in mind, and so far they've got the highest positive reviews out of Animation Domination in the first two episodes.

I loved how Louise was acting like a sad little girl crying out for her father, when really she was just trying to get a report out of the robber, acting like they were already best friends. I laughed when she yelled at the chief.

FOX Cooks Up A Fourth Season of BOB'S BURGERS
    by Bob's Burgers on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 2:00pm ·

FOX has ordered a fourth season of 22 all-new episodes of the Emmy-nominated animated comedy BOB’S BURGERS, it was announced today by Kevin Reilly, Chairman of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company.

“We love BOB’S,” said Reilly. “We are really proud of the way the show has grown over the past three seasons – without losing the unique voice at its core – and we know that the best is yet to come for BOB’S BURGERS and its fans.”

BOB’S BURGERS recently was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program as well as for a 2012 Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Animated Series. Premiering earlier this fall, BOB’S BURGERS displayed the greatest year-to-year growth of any returning broadcast series and ranks No. 2 in its competitive Sunday time period among Men 18-49, Men 18-34 and Male Teens.

In the all-new “Bob Fires the Kids,” episode of BOB’S BURGERS airing Sunday, Oct. 21 (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX, Bob worries he’s depriving his children of their summer vacation by making them work at the restaurant, so he fires them. However, the kids become so bored with their newfound freedom that they secretly get hired by a pair of married hippie farmers (guest voices and real-life spouses Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally), who hire the Belcher kids as “weed pickers.” Meanwhile, Bob hires Mickey The Bank Robber to help out at the restaurant, but soon regrets his decision.

This season, BOB’S BURGERS also serves up holiday cheer with the series’ first-ever Thanksgiving and Christmas episodes. In the upcoming Thanksgiving episode, Bob’s eccentric landlord, Mr. Fischoeder (guest voice Kevin Kline), invites the Belchers for an unusual Thanksgiving dinner to impress a former flame. In the Christmas episode, Zach Galifianakis guest-voices as a man who is infatuated with a mannequin, and believes he used to be a mannequin himself. Other guest voices this season include Jon Hamm, Jeffrey Tambor, Aziz Ansari, Bill Hader and Sarah and Laura Silverman.

that means they would probably get another season, as now they have 79 episodes ordered, and at 80 fox can start reaping the syndication benifits.
