    Aqua Teen Hunger Force

I just got hooked on this show, like I once got hooked on The Simpsons and did nothing but watch it over and over until I got sick of it. I'm not sure how old Meatwad is, but I think he's a little kid.

Are there any active forums for this show? I'd like to join one.

I wonder what the size difference is between this and the $14.99 one.

I loved ATHF like 6 years ago. Tried to watch recent episodes... tried.

We'll always have classic episodes like Bus of the undead.

I think the flaw of ATHF is the inconsistency. One episode will be amazing while the next entices one to stab a fork in their eye.

And don't give me none of that 'the classic era was better' crap. Each of the seasons has an episode in the godaweful MC P-Pants series.

MC Pee Pants was fucking hilarious. It might've been the fact that when the first MC pee Pants episode came out... I was smoking a lot of weed. But one of the hardest laughs I've had at the series was in the first episode where he is using the cardboard cut out and says he had a "strizoke in my brizain" and then tramples Carl. RANDOM GIANT FUCKING SPIDER.

But yeah the old man one sucked. A better example would be to point out "PDA" came out in the first or second season. Worst episode ever.

You could try the Adult Swim forums, but they're a nightmare.

One of my favorite shows! My favorite episodes are Little Brittle and Eggball.

I've been watching the show since 2000 or so and I agree that it's a wonderful show; however I didn't watch many of the recent episodes, I can chalk that up to me losing interest in the show; despite me loving it.

Disagree... While the show may be simplistic, I tend to feel that the antics of the characters, the situation of the characters and the unusual reactions to situations make up a portion of the humor. There are tons of examples; the "Fargate" episode, the "Abraham Lincoln" episode, etc.

if there's ever a time at night, where i have nothing to do, and this is on I'll watch it. sometimes I have my TV on as I try to fall asleep and I open my eyes and watch if this comes on. I don't like it a whole lot but I mean, it's not terrible. just not something I'm in to

The humour also derives from this, most of the time being successful. Such as that dick episode. While I'm not a fan of it, the resolution where Frylock tells Dr. Wongburger to call someone to pick him up is hilarious.

I really enjoyed it when I was younger and while I don't care as much for the newer episodes I still watch them from time to time.

I can't remember the name of the episode, but the one where "Shake's son" shows up is hilarious. The dragon taking him away at the end of the episode is probably the biggest laugh I've ever got from ATHF. Random stuff like that is the reason I love the show.

Eh. "Ezekial" was good but I wouldn't count it as Top 10 material; "Boost Mobile" however (from the same season) I would as I laughed repeatedly at the episode during the many times that I viewed it, seriously the shameless product placement works big time and the running jokes they had throughout are brilliant.

It's looks juvenile, but under it, is a very broad and dark humour that actually works that's quite rare these days. And "Boost Mobile" is hilarious, Zombies, agreed. Though it's really sad that it had to be in the season they started working on the movie, because I always thought most of season 4 was very rushed. Except "Handbanana", that stuff is fucking gold. Though seasons 1-3 are a hell of a lot better.

Oh, and when Shake goes black after being bitten by a black guy. That episode also has a bitchin' Simpsons reference.

What's also funny is that Frylock's voice actor is black.

looks juvenile but beneath it is a mix of off-beat (either "awkward" or really unknown"), in-your-face, simplistic and complex humor mixed in with some dark humor and some fantastic visual gags; it's hard to describe but what they have works effectively and alot of it is really unique; plus it's side-splittingly funny.

I don't think there are very many visual anythings. The backgrounds are pretty bad, actually, in my opinion.

I'm also incredibly astounded that they managed to keep it on for ten years. Though the network it's on really likes to make the producers of this show happy, and I know a couple of them are like executives of Adult Swim or some shit.
