In a recent Family Guy episode, one of the cutaways involved Uma Thurman's eyes gradually spreading apart on her face. What's the origin of this?

Well I mean...the gag itself, I didn't understand it. Is there something wrong with Uma Thurman's eyes in Pulp Fiction (I...er, haven't seen it)?

2 questions about the quote in my sig.

    1) What episode is it said?

    2) What is the real quote?
A response to the YouTube video, 'Family Guy Steals From The Simpsons' - Funniest thing I've ever read.
If you guys didn't notice, Family Guy was produced by the same person that made the Simpsons.
You can't steal from yourself, therefore, Family Guy can't steal from the Simpsons

...And one of the creators of Cartman is a Jew with a penchant for Nazi jokes, like so many of his generation and younger.

Episode was answered, you don't have the exact quote though. Here's the full one:

Ms. Choksondik: [turns to the blackboard] Now let's get on with our lesson on the-
Kyle: Ah-ah-ah-are wooden desks all that available? I usually prefer the plastic ones because these give me splinters.
    Cartman: Ugh, ugh!
Ms. Choksondik: [faces the class] I'm sorry, Kyle. You'll just have to make do. [turns to the blackboard again] Now let's get back to the le-
Kyle: Is it cold in here? I realize we're in the mountains, but do we have to freeze to death?
Ms. Choksondik: [faces the class] Now Kyle, I need you to be quiet. In my class you need to be able to concentrate.
    Cartman: Oh!
Ms. Choksondik: Concentration is the key to succeeding in my class.
Cartman: Maybe we'll have to send him to concentration camp. AWGH! Damnit, damnit, damnit!

    That's a hilarious one.

There are a few on the official Mission Hill website. You can save the characters heads on the title page.

Chekov, the Russian crew member, said nuclear vessles on either the 4th or 5th Star Trek Movie. It was a running gag of sorts, because he always pronounced things in a weird way.

Seeing as you may have the intellegence of a 3 year old, the real quote is 'My Hairy Arse'.

Arse isn't even considered a swearword in America. Try replacing the 'A' in 'Aunt' with a C and see what you get, before you start ridiculing innocent people for no reason.

In Futurama, I'm fairly sure the opening credits have been different three times, but I'm not entirely sure which episodes they were.

    - Early in the series, there was a theme tune that just sounded different, but I can't remember which episode this was in. For some reason, I'm thinking A Fishful of Dollars
    - There was one with characters saying stuff over the top, which I'm sure was in Bender Should Not Be Allowed on TV, since I watched it last night.
    - There's one where the theme has no music and is done entirely by the characters. Fairly sure it was in a late episode, but I've no idea which.

The one from Mars University was to coincide with the episode's tag line, Transmitido en Martian en SAP.

In Bender Should Not Be Allowed on TV, it's normal music with a bit of human beatboxing and lots of vocals, including Bender saying "This is a story about all my friends".

And Spanish Fry is similar to that, except it's all vocals (with a few sound effects).

A question from me now... on my Futurama Season 1 DVD, there are two episodes that do not have subtitles in the opening credits, namely I Roommate and Hell Is Other Robots. According to gotfuturama.com's list, there ARE subtitles: "AS SEEN ON TV" and "Condemned by the Space Pope".

These certainly ring a bell so I'm fairly sure I've seen them on TV, but they're missing from my DVD. Does anyone else have this problem? I've searched around loads of sites but there is no mention of this anywhere.

Also, what is the background to the subtitle, "Not based on the novel by James Fenimore Cooper"? I looked at a list of his books on Wikipedia but didn't see one called "Futurama" or a variant thereof.

I'm kind of new to Futurama and it's a great show. Well, I have some episode title questions...

    1. What is the name of the episode about Leela almost getting married to another 'Cyclops' in the other planet?

    2. What is the one about 3 'What If' machines? (y'know, 500 foot Bender, impulsive Leela, and Fry in 1000 years ago)

    3. What is the one about Fry's past when his brother really wanted his name and eventually 'stole' it? Oh, and this episode, I think, involves the lucky 4-leaf clover

    4. What is the one that parodied 'Titanic'? That was a great episode...
    calmer than you are
