Season Three Best Episode: Finals (Homer at the Bat Wins)

    http://www.snpp.com/episodeguide/season3.html

Same as part two, I voted for "Homer at the Bat", with my favorites "I Married Marge" and "Like Father, Like Clown" unfortunately booted out. Hopefully with both "Flaming Moe's" and "Homer at the Bat" in one poll, there should be a little more competition than in the past two polls.

Seeing as both of my choices aren't in this round, I voted Burns Verkaufen der Kraftwork. Lisa's Pony could be regarded as better, but it's a tad boring compared to Burns yada yada yada. Burns...work is enjoyable, and maintains interest.

I'd say my top 5 of the season would be:

    1. Flaming Moe's
    2. Like Father Like Clown
    3. Homer at the Bat
    4. Bart the Lover
    5. I Married Marge

Though the order might switch around, I voted for Flaming Moe's.

I chose Radio Bart. I love all the things that Bart wants to do when he grows up: use a fake id, smoke a cigarette...

    "It's an old-fashioned hole-diggin'! By gar, it's been a while!"

I remember when those label makers became ridiculously popular right around then, too.

radio bart, flaming moes , and homer at the bat are all psractically equal in terms of quality, however, radio bart just edges out the other two in terms of jokes, and a great charecterisation of bart.

Lisa's Pony is the obvious choice for me seeing as my two other season 3 favourites, Mr. Lisa Goes To Washington and Lisa The Greek are out.

Really tough decision between Homer At Bat and Burns Verkaufen der Kraftwerk. I guess HAB is slightly better

This is a really good list, the only one that doesn't belong is Burns Verkaufen der Kraftwerk. The other ones are just brillant, I think I will go with Colonel Homer, and Flaming Moes as a strong second. I just love the story too much to go with anything else, it is probably the best look at the Homer-Marge marriage to date

Colonel Homer and Flaming Moe's are my two A+ of Season 3, but I'm going with Colonel Homer.

Very tough choice between Homer at the Bat and Flaming Moe's. But Homer at the Bat is slightly better, so I'll go with that.

Lisa's Pony, seeing as I voted for it before.

Homer at the Bat. What I refer to as the Simpsons first real gag episode.

  18. #18

I'm surprised (but pleased) at how spread out the voting is so far. My two picks both made it, Homer at the Bat and Flaming Moe's, but I went with the latter since while it's very close, I just have more respect for the character usage and story development of Flaming Moe's. Homer at the Bat is hilarious and terrific, but it's also a little unbalanced.

Tough one. Went with Homer At The Bat, with Flaming Moe's and Radio Bart not far behind.

All of those episodes are classic (as is all season 3 to be honest), but Flaming Moe's gets my vote, Burns Verkaufen der Kraftwerk edging extremely close behind.

    Radio Bart

Sooo good. Has classic story, excellent emotion and good humor. I love watching it every time!

Homer at the Bat and Flaming Moe's are nearly equal to me, so I'll vote Radio Bart again, even if I doubt it will pass this round (where's DtB ?).

    radio bart
she didnt exactly read shrek the 3rd, which apparently exists as some sort of companion book for a pixar movie. no, this would probably take several minutes (perhaps 10), and would have ultimately depricated the shrek 3 cinematic experience

she merely looked at the book

she saw it, perhaps in the childrens section of a barnes & noble, registered it in her mind as being in existance, and filed it away for later as the subject for a post on BOOKS YOUVE READ. only she just looked at it. and it was shrek 3

in a way its the saddest post ive ever read
