Season 4's Best Episode Finals Return!

Since everyone has been trying to figure the best episode out of all 12 complete seasons. ive decided to make this poll. In this poll there will be the first 8 episodes of season 4 to choose from. In those polls, the top 2 from each poll with the most votes will go into another semi-finals poll. then the top 3 of that poll will be in the finals poll. The episode with the most votes will be season 4's best episode. & in the end, the best episode can be decided, well sort of.

In the first finals, Mr. Plow and Last Exit to Springfield tied so there must be a winner!

    BEST EPISODES:
    Season 1: Bart the General
    Season 2: Lisa's Sub
Season 3: Homer at the Bat
    Season 4: Mr. Plow

    edit: WE HAVE A WINNER!

    Lisa: Was that your commercial?

    Homer: ...I...don't know.

I really can't properly voice my head-shaking sadness that "Homer the Heretic" didn't make it. Even if it had staunch competition, which it did, it was still the best of the season. Out of the two tied episodes, though, "Last Exit to Springfield" is the better. It's a classic in a way that I wouldn't attribute to "Mr. Plow".

In my opinion Last Exit was the best here.
Two eyes, two ears, a chin, a mouth, ten fingers, two nipples, a butt, two kneecaps, a penis. I've just described to you the Loch Ness Monster. And the reward for its capture? All the riches in Scotland. So I have one question: why are you here?

    No if ands or buts?

Whatever, it's no doubt Mr. Plow. Nearly everyone I talk to in real life always says the most memorable episode of the simpsons that they all remember is mr plow.

I loved both episodes, but I gotta hand it to "Last Exit to Springfield." Really smart episode (Which is not to say that "Mr. Plow" wasn't, but you get my point).

    I went with "Mr.Plow".

I felt quite sorry for Homer when Bareny stole all his business and the commercial with grampa as old man winter was great also.
And now a word from my God...our sponsor!

I voted for Mr. Plow because I have never seen Last Exit to Springfield

I'd have to go with Last Exit to Springfield. Overall, it had a more interesting plot than Mr. Plow, hilarious throughout, and had Lisa singing!

I still go with with Mr. Plow.

Last Exit!! It might not be the funniest episode ever written, but it is one of the best. It also gets my vote for the coolest title for a Simpsons episode.

Why does it have to be between these two? Now I can't decide! ARRGHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, I vote Last Exit to Springfield, but it wins just by a hair, and...well hey, it's a tie right now!

    wow

Wow, this is heated and its due to both episodes being great and having a very similar appeal and quality. I wonder if Season 5 will be this way?
Or will Cape Feare rule the day?

Anyways, don't you take this down today Josh? It has been 3 days.

This will be looked upon as the closet poll yet.

Season 4 had so many greats and is easily the best season.

Yes marge vs. the monorail and homer the heretic were better than these two(heretics my 4th favourite and marge vs. the monorail is my 9th favourite.)

Mr plow and last exit to springfield are both equally wonderful however mr. plow is just better by a little bit to me(mr plows my 12th favourite and last exit is my 13th favourite).

Oh we will never have a season like season 4 again...

Cant wait for the dvd release. :homer:
