Which episode (in which season too, if you would) was the one where Sideshow Bob came back and ended up working at Bart's school? I think it was the same one where he lived in the storage shed at some other place and worked out a lot. Sorry, I can only remember snippets of the episode.

I think part of it is a comment on the fact that many actors whose careers are in decline end up doing kiddie sports movies. Among those that come to mind are Emilio Estevez in The Mighty Ducks, Rodney Dangerfield in Ladybugs, Steve Guttenberg in The Big Green, and Rick Moranis in Little Giants (which, incidentally, also starred Ed O'Neill).

But whats with the mummy thing? Is that meant as a reference to Jack Frost style movies? (Boy beign helped by a supernatural beign)

That's another part of it, sure. Michael Keaton was pretty much on the down side of his film career when he made Jack Frost. Basically, it's a takeoff on the horrible movies actors make when the better roles dry up.

Come on, you Americans should know more than us Brits on that, you already have the S8 set.

Does anyone know the names of the songs from My Fair Laddy? There are 4 in total - the "adequate" one, "what flows from the nose" one about being indoors all night, and "the shack where I lived" one.
    "Adequate"
"Not On My Clothes"/"Blue Pants All Mornin'"
    "Indoors All Night"
    "Longing For The Shack"

That would ruin the point of this thread would it?

Did Allison Taylor Appear In Episodes Other Than Lisa's Rival?

No, not necessarily. There is only information on episodes up to mid-Season 13. What if they had a question on an episode after that?

And, yes, Allison has appeared in other episodes. Off the top of my head, I can tell you she was portrayed as still being very close to Lisa during the scenes with Alex in "Lard of the Dance" (although she never spoke).

    Incorrect.

A saying goes that a thousand monkeys with a thousand typewriters would, given infinite time, eventually recreate the works of william shakespeare.

In My Sister, My Sitter, when Lisa asks Smithers if she can cut the line to Dr. Nick, Smithers replies, "Er...no, I'd rather get this over with." Are we supposed to know what's happened to him?

That one baffled me for a long time until I watched it the Season 8 DVD the other day and noticed Smithers says that while standing and leaning over somewhat awkwardly while everyone else is sitting. I'm thinking something like a Troy McClure/fish thing there.

Wow, that's pretty risque for the show, if they're implying something like that.

    Oh, and nice icon, heh.
