Season 4's Best Episode Part 1/3

Since everyone has been trying to figure the best episode out of all 12 complete seasons. ive decided to make this poll. In this poll there will be the first 8 episodes of season 4 to choose from. In those polls, the top 2 from each poll with the most votes will go into another semi-finals poll. then the top 3 of that poll will be in the finals poll. The episode with the most votes will be season 4's best episode. & in the end, the best episode can be decided, well sort of.

Here are the first 8 of the 22 episode of season 4. And may the best episode win

And from now on I'll put the best episode here
    Season 1: Bart the General
    Season 2: Lisa's Sub
Season 3: Homer at the Bat

A Streetcar Named Marge wins this round, hands down. The only episode that I'd consider better is "Last Exit to Springifield", which, IMO is the funniest episode of all time.

Well, ya'know if you stay positive and forget about trivial things like "proper characterization," "Satire," and "emotional depth" watching new Simpsons episodes can be a seemingly enjoyable lie.

I tried watching a new episode the Simpsons, but I realized the show hit a new low, like a brand new, underground parking structure of sadness.

"Homer the Heretic" is going to win this one, no contest. It's one of the most insightful episodes the series has ever had and one of my favorite episodes period. Brilliant.

Homer the Heretic will win, but another good episode in the bunch is Itchy and Scratchy: The Movie.

This is a pretty tough decision but I'll have to go with Marge Gets a Job.

Hey, Joshman, I thought Bart the General won season one?
Two eyes, two ears, a chin, a mouth, ten fingers, two nipples, a butt, two kneecaps, a penis. I've just described to you the Loch Ness Monster. And the reward for its capture? All the riches in Scotland. So I have one question: why are you here?

Unfortunately, "A streetcar named Marge" is one of the very few episodes I don't know. "Kamp Krusty" was very nice, so it gets my vote.

I think Season 4 is the best season of the Simpsons. After 2/3 and 3/3, I think its going to be very close in the semifinals.

I, for one, am stunned at the lack of success the THOH shows are having! To me, they have just about always been the best episodes each season.

I voted for "Homer the Heretic" it was a very clever episode about religon.

I love the sence where all the animal's are in the shower with Homer as well LOL.

Second place here would be "Itchy and Scratchy : The Movie".

Thanks for clearing that up, Joshman.

Boy, its hard to choose between Homer the Heretic, THOH III, Kamp Krusty, and Itchy and Scratchy the Movie(all the others in the list are great too), but I guess I'll have to narrowly go with Homer the Heretic.

    Hardest decision ever!

Wow, people really love Homer The Heretic. I actually dont remember that episode as being that great, I remember it was good but one of the weaker episodes of the season. But it has been a while since I have seen it, so I guess i gotta go and dig it out and refresh my memory.

I've never seen "Homer the Heretic", sadly. "A Streetcar named Marge" was a brilliantly inventive and funny episode, full of character insight, parody, and intelligence. That was why I voted for it. "Itchy and Scratchy: The Movie", "Marge gets a Job", "Treehouse of Horror III", and "Kamp Krusty" are all classics that come in close, but no cigar, and "Lisa the Beauty Queen" was pretty good.
