This was pleasant. Not super funny but I remember having beanie babies when I was 7, like a calico cat one and a black cat. Wayne is dumb but sweet and is preferable to other animated male leads like Peter Griffin and Rick Sanchez. Plus I give it points for being set in my home town.

(Late Post since this was written in September):
Distracting art style aside, it actually looks a lot better in motion. I wasn’t too impressed with the mother/daughter plot but the subplot was wholesome. It may be Simpson’s (dysfunctional family) meets King of the Hill (southern settings), but Harts is alright IMO so far. Not everyone will be into it, but I’m sure it’s a harmless show that is worth passing the time. First episodes are usually slow, but it might improve. 6/10
    Simpsons: 4 > 6 = 7 > 5 > 3 > 8 > 2 > 14 > 15 > 13 = 10 > 9 > 16 > 20 > 1 > 24 = 21 > 26 > 22 = 25 > 23 > 19 = 27 > 18 = 28 > 12 > 11 > 17 = 29

    Family Guy: 4 > 3 > 2 > 1 > 5 = 6 > 15 > 16 > 10 > 14 > > 7 = 11 = 9 > 8 > 12 = 13

I liked this one more the more I rewatched it. It's not the best episode but the show got better as time moved on. Really Sweet how Wayne got to Violet and how the two plots connected. 4/5
