Why is Space Dandy on there? That only aired on Adult Swims Toonami, not on Cartoon Network.

Late 90s-early 00s was mostly good for animation too.

Powerhouse was good and I do vividly some of its bumpers in its last years with original logo, but CN City will always have a special place in my heart.

This decade had so much great cartoons, but man, the graphics are so boring. They have the same slogan for the entirely of the 2010s, when are they going to end the "CHECK IT" era already?

The golden age of CN was without a doubt the second half of the 90's. Shows like Dexter's Laboratory and The Powerpuff Girls were absolutely splendid, both taken at face-value (as the kids did) and taken as post-modern commentaries on mid 20th century animated television (as the parents did). And it is difficult to overstate how influential these shows were on american animated cartoons in general. They are the reason why we have simple, stylized character designs in most television cartoons even today (as opposed the semi-realistic designs of the 80's/early 90's).
