Peter starts a string quartet with his pals, but he's so bad he gets replaced. Brian gets a job as Carter's seeing eye dog.

It was a good, if fairly routine episode. The main plot probably had more laughs and was better developed. And I'm noticing too that the guys more often now do nice things for Joe, like when he wanted to sit with the other guys in the sofa. However, there was the unneccessary harsh bit where he says something motivational to Peter and gets criticized for it just because he's handicapped. Anyway, it did a good job of making Peter come off as an innocent child rather than selfish. The subplot was a little clumsier. It starts out as Brian becoming Carter's seeing eye dog, but that is not for very long at all, and then nothing really happens there until Brian comes up with a plan to blind him. But it had some chuckles, and I liked how they for once poked fun at how they do sentimental endings. We almost had another apology speech, the trope which I can't stand in the new episodes.

Overall, no major flaws, though no huge highlights either. It does its job, but I liked last week's a little better. On the plus side, there were finally at least some more Meg bits. I liked that joke with her mocking Brian's snobby attitude.7.7/10

Please retire Lois though. She's so annoying now, there's barely any part of her left anymore I like.

lol, so nobody else watched this one? Well, it was kinda the previous ep but with violins instead of DJing anyway so it's not like much was missed. Pretty much all crap up until the very end of the violin story. Brian and Carter's plot was also terrible and the fact that they literally had Stewie pull a "Hasty Wrap-up" lever was just such a blatantly lazy crock of shit.

    Good gags
    Peter's talent show cutaway.
    Cochamer/Cockhammer.
    Sword in the Stone
Joe sliding down the chair to Peter's violin
    "Powder my speedbag"
    Brian doing the Muttley mumbling.
Brian slowly leading Stewie to the idea that he wanted to blind Carter.
Lois tugging Peter's ear in that cutaway
"And that's how the penis song goooooooes!"

    Bad gags
Old man water/pee bit went on way too long.
Lois getting molested when she was 11.
    Mr. Washee Washee torturing Peter

Oh, and I passed that cataracts test. Hooray for me! 2/5.
    How to remaster
