Today I learned that Elvis Presley deliberately modeled his famous hairstyle and some of his costumes (most notably the ones where he wears a cape half the size of a regular one) after one of his favorite comic book superheroes, Captain Marvel Jr.

Funny enough, Adam West finally got the chance to play Thomas Wayne in the episode of the Brave and the Bold cartoon where Batman was searching for Joe Chill and during the part where Phantom Stranger temporarily sends him back in time, he runs into his dad at a costume party, and Thomas is dressed like a bat (which Bruce believes is the subconscious reason why he decided to dress like a bat too) and beats up some crooks, so Adam West did get what he wanted in the end after all.

He also got the chance to play a dark and sinister Batman in the Return of the Caped Crusaders movie as well.

Today I learned that Tim Curry had an almost-fatal stroke in 2012, and that while he survived, he has since been confined to a wheelchair and has not acted in anything since the stroke except for the Rocky Picture Horror tv remake in 2016.

TIL the Chihuahua has the largest brain relative to its body size in canines. Huh, maybe that's why my dog is the smartest pet I've had so far

I liked the psp version of Meet the Robinsons, I think it's nice they're remaking the game (plus, it will encourage some people to watch the film).

Wow, Burnout: Paradise? I haven't played that game in years. Should be fun reliving it all again.

If only they'd make FlatOut 2's remake backwards compatible too

TIL stickbugs hide completely still underneath leaves for the majority of the day. I always saw pictures of them that seemed to be taken in the daylight and had no idea they're nocturnal. Plus they can grow to be up to a foot long

Weird insects always fascinate me, I dunno why.

Always thought it was interesting how many enemies from SMB2 became regular iconic fixtures of the series despite totally not initially being Mario characters (Doki Doki Panic thing and all)
