    2016 Emmys for Animation

The 2016 Emmy winners in the animation categories:

Animated Program - Archer (do you want Emmys? Because that's how you get Emmys)

Short Form (15 minutes or less) Animated Program - Robot Chicken Christmas Special: X-mas United

    Voiceover: Seth MacFarlane (Family Guy)

Individual Achievement Emmys: two for Adventure Time, and one each for He Named Me Malala, Long Live the Royals, and Robot Chicken DC Comics Special III: Magical Friendship

Do voiceover Emmy's count as an Emmy for the show itself? Because it sure would be nice if Family Guy could shut the fuck up about not having one.
    How to remaster

Not in the way you're thinking. That has to be either Animated Program or Comedy Series.

This is Family Guy's fifth Emmy overall. The other four:
2000 - Seth MacFarlane, voiceover performance
2002 - music & lyrics (i.e. original song - "You've Got a Lot to See" from "Brian Wallows and Peter Swallows")
2010 - original achievement in animation
    2011 - sound mixing for a half-hour comedy/drama series or animated program

Welp I am utterly disappointed about Short Form. No one gonna be surprised I wanted Steven Universe/The Answer to take that.

Kinda excited for Long Live the Royals, though. I don't presently watch it, but I am acquainted with one of the VAs, Nicki Rapp. Really glad the show seems to be doing well.

Man, I'll admit to being a fan, but it's gotta sting for fans of Adventure Time and/or Steven Universe to lose to fucking Robot Chicken of all things.
