I'll go back to American Dad! and post this. Now it's not lifted directly from the show, but it's the original singer singing "Cilantro (El Gato No Es Bueno)" and then translating it from the episode "Roy Rogers McFreely".

The look on their faces in priceless too.

"Cilantro is the man with the devil's cheese!"

I can't believe this song came from Teen Titans Go.

Like you're not sick enough of this already... one more song from American Dad!. This time, it's the Stelio Kontos theme. I know it's just repeating "Stelio, Stelio Kontos" but I like it anyway.

That one is soooo stupid but still gets a legit lol from me.

That first ep he appears in is one of my favorites. Stan is such a dick.

Well, since I'm associated with this show now, I might as well post a few more Winx Club songs.

On that subject, I really hated Season 5, but I must admit it had some pretty good music too it. "We Are Believix" by Elizabeth Gillies was just the beginning. The opening was great too.

Glad I could find the original 2D opening. I hate the 3D designs in this show!

And its token transformation song, "Sirenix".

And speaking of Elizabeth Gillies, I really like this duet she did with VIctoria Justice in VICTORiOUS, "Take A Hint". For one, I always liked when Tori and Jade were able to put aside their differences, but moreso, this song is a lot more relevant than something you'd expect from a Nickelodeon sitcom. Couple under-the-radar moments in it too that weren't too heavy-handed.

I was hoping she'd sing in Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll, but I can't get through a single episode of that and I won't try.

There's been a ton of Spider-Man shows out there, and a lot of them have some really catchy songs:

The iconic theme song from the 1967 cartoon.

The theme song for the 90's animated series.

And the theme from the short-lived Spectacular Spider-Man.

Even though half the songs I'm posting are from either Winx Club or American Dad!, I'm posting another song from the former.

I love how upbeat and energetic this song is, definitely deserved after Season 7.

Argh, the Stelio Kontos song was deleted! And I can only actually find the scene and not the song!

Beast Machines is one of the least liked Transformers series out there, but this song is pretty catchy.

An underrated song (and my favourite) from 'Once More With Feeling':

I could also post anything from Forbidden Zone, but I won't.

    No, I will.

I can't post the actual 'video' due to nudity but it should be in the links to the right.

From Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, it's "Don't Use Our Songs". It starts at about 3:31.

Really nice touch on the way people use unlicensed and unfitting songs ("Born in the USA").

This is a very comforting song right now.

There's also an absolutely wonderful write up of the therapeutic meaning of this song as well.

Being Mindful Of Distress and Guilt

As its title suggests, its a lesson in mindfulness, teaching children learn how to cope with emotional distress and overwhelming thoughts.
Take a moment, remind yourself to
Take a moment and find yourself
Take a moment to ask yourself
    If this is how we fall apart;

But its not, but its not, but its not, but its not, but its not
Its okay, its okay, its okay, its okay, its okay
Youve got nothing, got nothing, got nothing, got nothing to fear
Im here, Im here, Im here

That reminds me of a song, it makes me think of me and my old friends. Now I know how cheesy that DiC Sailor Moon dub was, but I still love this song.

Call my name and I'll be there
There's nothing like the laughter that we share
Whenever you need someone or a shoulder to lean on
Call my name and I'll be there

I remember I first heard this song in a MIDI and I thought it was the Friends theme song. I still do the claps.

I heard Mars' ("Raye's") DiC VA actually sang that at a recent con.

And speaking of songs about friends being there for each other that remind me of people in my life... sue me, I'm posting a Hannah Montana song.

True friends will go to the ends of the earth till the find the things they need
Friends hang on through the ups and the downs 'cause they got someone to believe in

I actually heard that song before I knew what Hannah Montana was. It really makes me think of a friend very close to me.

Why is it that all the good songs about friendship are associated with TV shows? Particularly child-targeted ones.

Nah the DiC Sailor Moon soundtrack was pretty tops, actually. I love their version of Moon Prism Power so much more than the original version. They have quite a few other Negaverse BGM jams that I'm glad they put out on CD.

But most importantly, this is the best song that ever came out of Sailor Moon in English and I will fight a bitch if they don't like Rainy Day Man it makes me so emotional thinking of Makoto/Lita crying over her severely injured buddy.

chilling, eerie music used on the vikings ost, during the blood eagle execution. the music definitely gives off a feeling of dread and impending doom, as an execution actually would:

My favorite DiC Sailor Moon BGM track has to be "Moon Tiara Magic". Again, I like it better than the original, as I do most of the music from the original honestly.

And oh, Rainy Day Man. That one brings a tear to my eye. As does "Only a Memory Away".

Since the OST version is different from the TV version, I'll post both. (I prefer the TV version, but there's dialogue over it.)

... I can't find it anymore. I guess VIZ had it removed upon the re-licensing of the series.

Well, I found the TV version. It's the best I can find of it - there is one on YouTube without the images from the show, but the audio there is distorted. It's slightly distorted here (you can tell by the grainy images as the Cartoon Network bug - did they really not have the DVD rip?), but it's listenable.

Speaking of friendship songs from cheesy anime dubs... This Yu-Gi-Oh! song stays with me too.

Here's a deleted song from The Fairy OddParents movie/special "Channel Chasers". It recently surfaced on Butch's YouTube page.

(Skip to about 1:19 to get to the song)
