Post great songs from movies or TV shows

Title says it all, only post original songs, not licensed music that just so happened to be used.
    For starters

    Post yours below.
You're a dolt with the IQ of a peabrain that probably loves lowbrow sitcoms like The Big Bang Theory, Frasier and Seinfeld to not grasp the biting satire and wit of the classic 65 (Rugrats).

    BUMP!
Queen's soundtrack for Highlander had quite a few major goodies, here are a few

    And a deeper cut

Pink Floyd's Obscured By Clouds, a soundtrack for the film La Valle, has some other good ones, I like this in particular.

I love the Mad World rendition from Donnie Darko, destroys the Tears For Fears one.

And here's another song from American Dad! I'll do one from something else soon, I promise.

Posted the live concert version of this in the What Are You Listening To? thread but since Dailymotion manages to escape the copyright monster on YouTube...

Open Your Heart from .hack//SIGN by Yuki Kajiura w/ Emily Bindiger on vocals
    http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2un3x7

This may be one of my favorite songs out of a show ever. It's kinda simple lyrically and truthfully, the meat of the lyrics are in the "reprise" version but I just love this song. Utterly beautiful to me. So sad the entire .hack//SIGN soundtrack is blocked out on YouTube.

Yeah, that one's nice! Very relaxing sounding, IMO.

Don't really like the American Dad songs, but to each their own!

I have seen very little of .hack//SIGN, but that sounds like a very nice and relaxing song.

Most anime ending songs are nice and relaxing with more upbeat opening songs, but I noticed Tokyo Mew Mew and Fairy Tail subverted those tropes. So here are the openings for them. Respectively "My Sweet Heart" and "Snow Fairy"

The intro for the Japanese Spider-Man show was pretty catchy.

Unsure of favorite OP, but my favorite Fairy Tail ED would be:

I love the song, but the visuals focusing on my favorite character and her siblings put it over the top.

And one final song, the OP from imo 2014's greatest anime:

    Very cool

I was able to find the ~Reprise~ version on SoundCloud which omg they fucking finally have volume control on the bottom...FINALLY.

    Anyway if interested, it's here:
    https://soundcloud.com/phantomfox14/...prise-hacksign

It's a remix with different lyrics; equally pretty and dreamy sounding which is interesting since it uh, plays during a death sequence. I wish there was one full version combining both but the live concert version w/ Yuki Kajiura + FictionJunction works pretty well.

    Nice.

Speaking of live versions, I did hear a live version of "My Sweet Heart" a long time ago (I was a huge Tokyo Mew Mew freak back in '05 or '06). Let's see if I can find it now.

    EDIT: Here it is:

And speaking of relaxing songs from Tokyo Mew Mew, here's one from the English dub (aka Mew Mew Power):

o I kinda forgot all about this one. I am a bad Steven Universe fan.

    Stronger Than You

And this entire episode of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia is full of amazing performances by the cast.

I can't listen to that song without thinking of this.

And anyway, after a month of joking about it in the Global Thermonuclear section and vague blogging about it, it's finally time for me to start talking about Winx Club.

There's plenty of versions of the theme song, but here's the one I remember the best: The 4Kids opening (We are the Winx! Come join the club!)

But from the RAI versions, I like this OP and ED.

And this one other song from the 4Kids version: "Just Us Girls". Been stuck in my head for awhile.

And from the Nickelodeon version, the song "We Are Believix", sung by Elizabeth Gillies. She is a great singer (though her only other song I've actually heard is "Take a Hint" with Victoria Justice from VICTORiOUS). I love how all the comments are "Wait! That's not Jade West!"

I know there's a full version of "Under the Sign of WInx" out there, but I'm too lazy to look for it now.

    Here's my favorite Simpsons song

A great one from Big Hero 6

Nice song from Meet The Robinsons

I prefer the more Rock/pop stuff over show tunes, really. I don't really like show tune style music.

From the era when comic book movies had songs to promote it, here's the main theme for Spider-Man 1.

Though I have yet to see The Angry Birds Movie, I really like this song from the end credits. "Friends" by Blake Shelton.
