R&R Bob's Burgers "Lice Things Are Lice"

Wow, this episode managed to be a pleasant surprise and it actually might be my favorite episode of the season. I loved the main plot with the nurse and how crazy she got throughout as the plot went on and even the subplot for this episode was hilarious and this is coming from someone who normally thinks that toilet humor just feels out of place on this show. I loved how Bob was dedicated to getting rid of the fart sound from the new stools and they really managed to make a hilarious subplot that's built up on fart jokes. The main plot was hilarious as well too and this whole episode is hilarious from start to finish and is the hardest I've ever laughed at a Bob's Burgers episode in quite some time. Really the only thing I didn't care for in this episode was that the resolution for the main plot felt a little weak, but it's just a minor flaw and it doesn't take away anything from this episode. It's a fantastic episode and I think it might be better than Nice-Capades. 10/10

Decent. I liked both of the plots, and the nurse was a good character. The only thing I didn't care for was Louise wanting to run back to help the others. 4/5

I love episodes set during one day, or only a few hours, instead of weeks or months. Makes the story more interesting. It was funny as usual even though fart jokes are cringy. Ugh.

Aren't most Bob's Burgers episodes just stuff that happens in one day though? I mean I could be wrong, but from what I can remember most episodes are pretty much set during one day.

Those are the most memorable I guess, but the Food Truck Festival episode and Sacred Cow are the only one I can think of that's set during a few days rn. But I'm pretty sure it's about 50 50.

Dug the stalker/horror mini-vibe it took on after the kids try to escape, and kinda loved Louise delighting in Tammy's dandruff in a painful way. I specifically remember getting checked for head lice in elementary school and hearing the person just go "wow you have a lot of dandruff" in front of fucking everyone. Decent ep. Liked it more than Sacred Couch, I think.

Hell, I'm a BB nerd. I'll weigh in on this.

    Great single-day episodes:

    The Belchies
    Bob Day Afternoon
An Indecent Thanksgiving Proposal (this technically takes place over more than one day, but 95% of it is at the Fishoeder household over a matter of hours)
    Mother Daughter Laser Razor
    Boyz 4 Now
    Carpe Museum
    Fort Night
    Christmas in the Car
    World Wharf II
    Dawn of the Peck

    Great multi-day episodes:

    Sheesh! Cab, Bob?
    Burgerboss
    Bad Tina
    Ear-sy Rider
    Tina-Rannosaurus Wrecks
God Rest Ye Merry Gentle-Mannequins (this one covers a week or so, probably up there with the "longest" episodes of the show)
    Topsy
    Turkey in a Can
    The Equestranauts
    The Kids Run Away

Personally, I agree that the single-day episodes tend to have more focused storylines (yet are still somehow more ambitious; look at that list!), but when the writers have a tight grip on the episode's theme, it doesn't really matter.

I never noticed how many episodes take place in a single day. I'm not sure if The Simpsons has any episodes that do that.

    Edit: Maybe 24 Minutes.
