    There's filler on all the Beatles records though.

    There really is.

    Early beatles is full of filler. You'd be surprised. Read some interviews.

    any song which mentions budapest is shite

    the male artists who adopt high pitched whiny voices these days are appalling

    queen are in third tier in terms of notable bands. nowhere near as good as often cited

    acdc = shite

    kraftwerk only started making listenable music by about 1977.

    rolling stones = absolute dirge. some fondness for the scorsese soundtracks

    bad brains are the gods of hardcore /sorry black flag, you're still hardcore though

    metallica = meh

    avenged whatever they're called. always see their name sewn into the bags of angsty looking b.o smelling teens. get on my nerves. semi decent music

    blur = everything since '95 is average crap. if it was done by anyone else would we notice or give two turds?

    red medicine by fugazi is the quintessential fugazi album

    the great escape is a salvagable ep tucked in a mound of trash at best but otherwise yeah. every album also has some confounding filler too tho.

    Parklife > all. But they didn't make a bad album (Leisure aside maybe).I agree The Great Escape is relatively weak though, kinda a lot of filler carried by how good the singles are.

    I wanted them to keep on making Britpop rather than their later direction. I don't care if it's passé. Just gimme more Parklife, MLIR and Great Escape. I like the self titled album anyway.

    Liking The Cure is in no way unpopular. And they do indeed rule

    I hold the opinion that AAD CDs (mainly older albums) sound better than modern DDD ones. Don't know why, it may be the technology used is less limited, or perhaps analog recordings required more experienced mixers...

    I don't think Friday is the worst song ever and we all just over reacted to it.
    I can't stand Paramore and Hailey Williams' voice in intolerable.
    I didn't like Taylor Swift's 1989 album.
