Yes you'll have to forgive me, I have more pressing things to do than login to nohomers.net to check that some no-lifes have replied to my comments. Clearly you have far too much spare time.

I like how you've replied already, almost as though you've been itching to see my response and logging in every day in the hopes of seeing it. I should be flattered really; but I just think it's sad.

@edwithmj I, like many others on the site, happen to come on the day after new episodes of various shows (Simpsons, FG, Bob's Burgers etc.) because usually I'll have watched them by that point and I check out the R&R threads accordingly. I came on to check out the thread for the new ep ("This little piggy") and saw the quote notification, so don't flatter yourself too much.

I'm quite happy to drop this silly argument if you are.

although I'm late for this I thought this was a great episode. It sounded perfect but of course typical modern Family Guy problems prevented them. 8.5/10
    Simpsons: 4 > 6 = 7 > 5 > 3 > 8 > 2 > 14 > 15 > 13 = 10 > 9 > 16 > 20 > 1 > 24 = 21 > 26 > 22 = 25 > 23 > 19 = 27 > 18 = 28 > 12 > 11 > 17 = 29

    Family Guy: 4 > 3 > 2 > 1 > 5 = 6 > 15 > 16 > 10 > 14 > > 7 = 11 = 9 > 8 > 12 = 13

    American Dad: 4 > 3 > 2 > 1 > 6 > 5 > 8 > 9 > 7 = 11 > 10 > 13 (so far) > 12

    The Cleveland Show: 2 > 1 > 4 > 3

    Futurama: 5 > 4 = 1 > 2 = 3 > 7 > 6

    Rick and Morty: 2 > 1 > 3

I didn't really enjoy it that much. Seeing the Brian and Stewie dynamic again was good, and it was bold that they decided to experiment with that dynamic by throwing Chris into the works, but it just didn't work for me. Everything about this episode felt like something which we've seen done better before. The show has had several time-travel episodes now and this one wasn't anything new or particularly original- as soon as it got to the Titanic parts the jokes just weren't hitting the right notes for me and it all felt a bit dull and inevitable. The best scenes and jokes were at the very beginning with Lois and Peter discussing Chris' grades with Chris and then with the Principal, but as soon as Peter was factored out of the equation, the humour element was lost in this particular episode. From the Earnest Hemmingway scene onwards, this episode really felt on autopilot and never really got out of that rut for the remainder of the second and third acts.

I also didn't think Stewie had a single funny line throughout the episode- thankfully, it's quite a rare occurrence.

Times I Laughed Out Loud: 2

Funniest Line: Stewie: "The year is 1803." Chris: "Ah, the future".

Best Cutaway: Peter's cutaway about failing homeroom.

Worst Cutaway: All the others. They really weren't up to scratch this week.

    Score: 5/10.
