My second guess regarding the episode involving Homer's green overshirt was Rednecks and Broomsticks, by the way. He wears a green coat in a lot of scenes of both Miracle on Evergreen Terrace and Rednecks and Broomsticks (well, he does change at the end of Rednecks and Broomsticks, hence why it was my second guess).

Heeey...it was my turn.
Anyway, "replaced" could mean a few different things. Characters who died, but then came back like nothing happened (Mrs. Glick, Dr. Nick, Marvin Monroe), characters whose death was acknowledged, but they were replaced by other characters just like the original (Fat Tony, Snowball II), characters whose voice actor died, hut the actor was replaced (Lunchlady Doris), or characters who died and were replaced by other characters (Lionel Hutz, Troy McClure).

I'm talking about the ones where the character was replaced. The actor may also be replaced but most of the time not.
