Well, I wish I had Hilary Barta skills of drawing, but I don't. So I'm simply going with my kind-of Simpsons style mixed with British ears.

    LOL British ears

That makes me even more confused whether the main character is British or Swedish

It's a highly typical Swedish/Dutch name. Not very British, since the English derivative of the original name tends to be 'John'

Well, there you go. I think friz helped you out a great deal, OSS. It even fits your thing of naming main characters after names you know from TV.

Unfortunately, those 2 days where I drew so many frames it's insane, exhausted me so much that 3 of the days after that, I only drew around 2-10 frames. Not proud of that at all.
So now, I'm desperately trying to make up for it by increasing production again, and have today drawn 60 more!
600 frames in total. Not too shabby number, but still approximately 6000 left to go. Holy shit.
I would however say that I've done a good enough job considering I'm all on my freakin' own for the current moment, and now also give you my report of how long the episode currently is:

1 minute and 39 seconds. An intro and outro haven't been added yet though, I'm pretty much saving that for last.

So ignoring credits, this is gonna be about 16 minutes.

Oof, the woes of handdrawn with mouse computer animation.
Just because I'm stupider than them, they think they're smarter than me!

Probably even more. The likely number is around 20.
And sometimes I also have to draw more for certain scenes than I expected.

This'll be the last preview for a long, long time.

I present to you Johan's lovely inmate Rachel!

Today I drew 40 frames. 694 in total now.

Today I drew 52 frames, just so I fiiiiiiinally could be done with the second page! And now I am.
830 in total. I'm in general actually almost done with the first part of the episode where I pretty much just introduce the plot and the main characters at Johan's house. After this, I'll get to the scene where Johan is in the recording studio acting in a commercial for rabbit soup.

It's not unspecified. I know exactly what I'm working on.

I'm keeping track of how much I draw only so I can know if I'm productive enough.
As for the episode length, it's currently at 2 minutes and 18 seconds (almost 19).

For the most part it's 0.175 seconds per frame, sometimes less or more.

Sorry, I accidentally asked the wrong question.

I meant to ask how I'm gonna know how many frames I have to draw for each line/action.

i mean it depends?? you want to have semi-realistic animation from what i can tell tho so don't stretch them out. that's the only thing. really you could have as many frames as you want and it could look decent as long as you edit it properly, which you haven't demonstrated very well. this is why i would like to handle the editing of them

Fuck it, if you want, I could probably do the episode. It'll be half assed Flash animation, but I could probably get it done a lot quicker (2-3 weeks at most), while still being aesthetically pleasing (I'll even throw in a few epic frame-by-frame moments in like the original CC&c if you want).
