    Treehouse Of Horror XXV 7.8/10

    School In Hell 7.7/10

+/- Very weak intro. While I appreciate the quick flashback to the earlier Treehouse Of Horror, they forgot the ones from season 15-19.
+ Chalmers apparently wanted to see naked Lunchlady Doris too.
+ "It's not like you made me say 'penis'!" I feel stupid for laughing at it, but it's classic Bart to make Skinner foul up like that.
+ I like the way the portal to Hell was opened.
--- "I have an app for that!" Groan.
+ The fire hand sets off the fire alarm.
+ "Eternal punishment is the only just punishment for the unbaptized". Damn Christianity.
+ Lisa gets friends by being mean back.
+ Nice twist on the "SKINNER!" catchphrase.
+ Bart's suggestion of a punishment for robbery was damn creative.
    - "I can't believe it, I have a crush on my teacher!" "Down here, we can make that happen." Creepy vibe?
+ The school bell is someone alive.
+ Bart accidentally finds the portal to Super Hell.
++ "Thank you for choosing Burns Hell Port." This was hilarious!
+ Homer is dismissive about Bart's school before he even knows it's free.
    ++ Wilhelm scream!
+ The flyer Homer receives almost chokes him to death.
-/+ Not so much for the montage, but it had some amusing sight gags, like "My child is a honor student in Hell".
+ "You went to Hell and came back a winner... Like Jesus!"
-- Why did they shy away from the violence?
    - Eh. Not a strong ending to the segment.

This was good, but could have been improved. It wasn't unsettling enough, but had some funny bits.

    A Clockwork Yellow 8.5/10

+ Very nice parody of the intro sequence to "A Clockwork Orange".
+ Rafael gets beat up by the gang.
++ "The ol' in and out". I have to admit I loved this parodic bit.
++ Fast-forwarded version of the 7th Symphony of Beethoven.
+ Moe is thrown out of a glass building.
+ Mary Poppi- Uuh, sorry, Shary Bobbins... is still alive?
+ In the parody of the famous "eye" sequence, Moe is forced to watch FOX.
+ Guess they couldn't use a dick statue, so a seal had to do.
? Schmoo? What the hell is schmoo?
    - Wait, what? The cops didn't even hit Malcolm McDowell's character in the movie until he had quit the club long ago. And he didn't convince them to join along him on another trip either.
    - Another iPhone joke.
+ While it was a mess, I think it was pretty nice with the collaboration of several Kubrick movies.

This segment is a mess, but still manages to be fun while it lasts. It helps if you are a big fan of Stanley Kubrick.

The Others (Wasn't this supposed to be called The Other Simpsons? Now it doesn't even differ from the title of the movie it parodies) 7.3/10

++ The mirror asks Homer for help and when he writes "NO!!!" as an answer, it comments on the exclamation marks.
++ "Homer, look what I found in the kitchen!" Frosty chocolate milkshakes! Of course!
+ Since the Ullman Simpsons is from 1987, "Married With Children" is played on the television.
+ Homer drinks the chocolate milkshakes.
+ Abraham winds up in Marge and Homer's bed. I always like these kind of jokes where he's confused.
+ Homer holds up The Car-Sellers Bible instead of the official one.
+ While flawed, Homer and Bart's voices sound spot-on enough for me to approve.
+ "What kind of after-life is this? Can't even strangle my dead kid!"
    - Homer is a dick. He chooses Ullman Marge just because she's younger!
+ "Homer Simpson!" "Can you be more specific?" Classic Homer or Jerkass Homer?
+ Marge kills herself just so Homer will choose her over Ullman Marge. Aaaw
+ This part with Groundskeeper Willie is worth discussing. Is it a subtle reference to Treehouse Of Horror VI or not?
+/- I should have been happier seeing Dr. Marvin Monroe, but his voice was really off. Can't blame Harry Shearer though. The voice really tore on his throat and it was such a long time since he appeared too. Still not as bad as Dr. Pryor's changed voice. (shudder)
    - This whole marriage crisis shit was just dumb. Glad it ends now at least.
++ Talking Santa's Little Helper was terrific.
++ Several different incarnations of The Simpsons appear.
    - It's not a satisfying ending of the segment.
++ Neat re-telling of the Family Portrait short.
    # The music presented for each segment is played in the end credits. Has this ever happened before?

It worked as fan-service, but unfortunately, it's my least favorite segment of the episode.

Much better than last year's Treehouse Of Horror. The segments could have been creepier, but it felt like more like Halloween this time and wasn't filled with as much stupid nonsense. However, it's not perfect. The segments felt sort of rushed and in every one of them, there was a little something stopping them from reaching its full potential. They also had pretty meh endings, particularly for the last one. Also, why the shying away from violence? Stupid, it's Halloween, for Christ's sake. Oh and iPhone jokes don't fucking work in a Halloween special.
Could have been better, but what do we expect from the Jean era after all? Albeit slightly disappointing, it's a solid episode.

I thought you were going to do Treehouse of Horror XXII. Can you review that please?
You're a dolt with the IQ of a peabrain that probably loves lowbrow sitcoms like The Big Bang Theory, Frasier and Seinfeld to not grasp the biting satire and wit of the classic 65 (Rugrats).

It's a non-canon episode. They can do what they want.

? Schmoo? What the hell is schmoo?
A shmoo is a creature from the Li'l Abner comics: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shmoo.

    # The music presented for each segment is played in the end credits. Has this ever happened before?
They definitely did it in Treehouse of Horror XXIII. I'm not sure about the others, but there are likely more.

Oh Christ, this will kill me...

    Treehouse Of Horror XXII 1/10

+ I smiled at the blink with Alien.
+/- It's in-character, but I don't think it's fair of Marge to take Bart and Lisa's candy like that when they've worked so hard for it.
    + The Psycho music played.
+ I don't like it as much now, but the opening is still the best part of the episode. Amusing parody of 127 Hours, and is actually what a Treehouse Of Horror haven't been lately: violent.
++ Bart and Lisa having Homer chew his arms off just to discover he stole vegetables was funny, but more so really creepy. Lisa's open much with candy forming "Treehouse Of Horror XXII" gives me the creeps.
    - You get paralyzed by a spider just like that? Fine!
+ "Well, at least I still look good."
? Homer looks at Marge's tits thinking "Cleavage." This was just weird.
+ "Oh my God, she's still on the first sentence!"
--- Jesus Christ, I forgot how long this sequence really was. The very little emotional potential with Lisa still loving her father was ruined by a myriad of embarrassing fart jokes. I've grown tired of those kind of jokes in general, but the fact that The Simpsons have them combined with the fact that they are in a fucking Treehouse Of Horror segment makes it disastrous. At least those jokes on Family Guy fits with the tone of the show.
--- Oh Christ, a Spider-Man parody?! WONDERFUL. Not to mention even more fart jokes. Congratulations Carolyn Omine, you just lost the little credibility you still had left.

+++ I've never liked Nelson's mother so much, but "The Yale School Of Prostitution" is just priceless!
+ Several good sight gags where we think Ned is already killing someone.
+ Mr. Burns is being evil for once.
+ He falls in a toxicated lake and develops a third eye.
--- But he doesn't have a single line of dialogue. It really bothers me he didn't say ONE GODDAMN LINE!!!
--- "Awesome" plot twist. Homer pretended to be God so he could have Ned killing people.
--- I get that he could be angry at Sideshow Bob for trying to kill his son, but he always forgets he tries to kill him, so why did he want Ned to kill Bob?
+ Cheap but all right parody of a Road Runner cartoon.
--- Why can't they just end this segment now?! It's not even trying to be creepy by now and they've already done all there is to do.
-- Ned wants to kill Homer for making him kill people. Like this segment wasn't already idiotic enough!
    # Another joke where Homer is portrayed as an atheist. This raises some interesting questions.
+ God lies by saying Flanders killed Homer. How ironic.
--- WHAT THE FUCK?! It actually ends with Maude turning out to have sex with Satan?! IS THIS A FUCKING JOKE?!?! Wow, this segment was even worse than I remembered.

+ Cletus and Brandine ask what state they are in.
    - Otto swishes by saying "Yo" when Bart is teleported. This will probably be his only line.
+ The bullies are finally acting like... bullies.
+ Bart gives the finger with his tentacle.
? Bart gets cocooned by a banana? What the fuck???
--- Oh man, I really, really hate this character.
+ "Now you are having sex with Uncle Tree!"
--- Bart alien and the creepy female alien are... Wait... Wait... IS SHE A PEDOPHILE?!
--- Now the alien is pregnant as well.
? How does Milhouse alien have a mobile in this world? Where the hell did he hide it?
+ The short banter between Chalmers and Skinner giving the aliens a blood bath was fun.
    - "We don't have any plans. The planet will protect us." "You sound like my art teacher."
[INTERNAL JOKE] + Is that Ghost Fish?
-- The fight is meant to be intense, but it's just boring. They are basically copying the whole fight from Avatar and add some stupid sight gags in.
-- Just look at the collaboration at the end! Does any one those things look like they belonged like a Treehouse Of Horror?!

Horrible beyond relief. I never thought I could hate it even more on a second watch, but I do! There is no least bad segment, they are equally fucked up! Terrible writing, terrible dialogue and worst of all, no feeling of tension. The only segment which actually made sense as a parody was "In The Na'Vi", but you know what? IT SUCKED TOO! In fact, the only movie/show they parodied which actually was horror is "Dexter" and even that one was cringeworthy to watch! (the segment, not the show, I haven't much of it) All of them on top of it had beyond retarded twists and turns. The Diving Bell And The Butterball has Lisa discovering Homer can talk with farts and him turning into a bizarre sort of Spider-Man, the second segment ruins everything with it turning out God is actually just Homer pretending to be him just to get Flanders to murder people and the third has Bart having sex with a fucking disturbing pedophile alien. It's not only the worst Treehouse Of Horror episode in existence, it's also one of the worst episodes to exist and it could even fall into my bottom 5 by now. It was so hard to watch that I want I puke, then vomit, then throw up, then commit suicide, then resurrect myself in order to puke, vomit, throw up and kill myself again.
Fuck's sake, even Birdemic had more elements of horror than this.

Art teachers being hippies is a fairly common stereotype over here. "The planet will protect us" is something a hippie would say.

On the other hand, most of the new ones turned out to be shitty as well...
