    The David Bowie Thread

Can't remember if there was a thread for this so merge it if there has.

Does anyone like David Bowie? I love his music though I've only listened to all his albums up to Tonight. My favourite's Hunky Dory.

Bowie is a common interest that drew my husband and I together.

Finally gave Reality a chance and it's actually a decent record. Bring Me the Disco King is as good as anything he's put out imo. Cover art still makes me ill though.

Huge fan. I love everything from his original self-titled up to Scary Monsters, then he sagged a bit during the 80s period when he was writing a lot of insincere pop stuff he didn't actually like but was just making to try and stay relevant (I actually loathe the songs he did for Labyrinth believe it or not). Then around Black Tie White Noise and Outside he got great again and stayed on top until the very end.

I'm indecisive but atm my top five rekkids would be

    5. Earthling
    4. Outside
    3. Hunky Dory
    2. Aladdin Sane
    1. Low
    Earth. Atomizer. Let's go.

Listened to The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust for the first time today. Enjoyed it a lot. Concepts albums have always interested me.

Refreshing to see someone else who rates his 90s work alongside his best. Outside and Earthling are fantastic.
