The Simpsons ALL STAR POLL: REVENGE

To make things fairer, I'm making another poll. These are the top 3 episodes from the last poll. This will be open for a week. To remind all, Last Exit to Springfield won the last poll but with just 18.6 %. Hopefully things will change this time around.

    You Only Move Twice

My favorite episode of all time, best guest of all time, and just made me laugh start to finish.

Ahh, the real finals. Well, my top two did not make the final cut, so I will go with Homer at the Bat. Although, all three are A+ episodes in my book.

Homer At The Bat. I chose it last time, and explained myself last time. Cape Feare would be second, but, it's not here. Those two episodes made me laugh more than the others, and that's what the Simpsons is truly about, regardless of what people may analyze it as. Sure, satire and all of that stuff is relevant, but humor is the main concept. Anyone who wants to argue...will probably win. But hey, I can always try.

Agree with Lance. Not much of a fan of any of them, but the best of those, by far, is "Last Exit to Springfield".

Wow, with 15 votes in, we have a 3-way tie. I can tell this race is going to be pretty intense.

Wow, looks like it's gonna come down to the wire! I voted for Homer at the Bat as it's the best of the choices. I don't have a one favorite episode, but if I did, Homer at the Bat would be right there.

'You only move twice' is what I voted for. Although it may be a little surreal, this episode was hilarious, and who could forget Hank Scorpio? 'Last Exit to Springfield' comes VERY close, and is an amazing episode as well. 'Homer at Bat' is excellent too.

As in the first round, I'm going with "You Only Move Twice" -- how can you beat the promotional video for Cypress Creek, where "urban renewal" means that everything turns into an upscale coffee shop except for the homeless person, who turns into a mailbox.

hehe...You Only Move Twice is such a great episode and it got my vote. Of course, as everyone else puts it, all these episodes are A+.

RK#2: I fell off the jungle gym, and when I woke up, I was in here.

Don't expect as many votes as the last poll got. There was alot of hype from the last poll and promotion on ET, so I think it's safe to say Last Exit to Springfield won the title of "Best Episode"

At 29 votes, this thing is tied between YOMT and LETS.

Question for you both, Dennis & Lance, since you don't think these three are great: What are your favorite episodes. At least 3 each, please.

LETS is just a great episode, so many funny moments and a serious storyline. Best Moment has to be Burns and Smithers running the plant

Since you wanted to know so bad, kwyjibo:

    1. Cape Feare
    2. Lisa's Substitute
    3. The Boy Who Knew Too Much
    4. Bart's Comet
    5. Lemon of Troy
    6. Homer and Apu

Last Exit to Springfield easily beats the other two. All great, but Last Exit is just the easy winner.
Two eyes, two ears, a chin, a mouth, ten fingers, two nipples, a butt, two kneecaps, a penis. I've just described to you the Loch Ness Monster. And the reward for its capture? All the riches in Scotland. So I have one question: why are you here?

"Last Exit" narrowly beats out the purely excellent "YOMT" with its amount of parody, great direction and animation, and the epic feel the deciding factors. I don't get the fuss with "Homer at the Bat"; it's a very good, enjoyable episode, with some nice humor, but what makes it so fabulous?

It's not spectacular, but it's very well-done. Even the guest stars were well-used.

LETS is my favourite episode of all time, so obviously i'm voting for that.

  28. #28

I'd hafta say last exit to Springfield was best outta those 3. Mainly just cuz I thought that episode was hilarious...Homer kept seein Marge sayin "dental plan"..."lisa needs braces", etc.

BTW, neone know what happened to the Family Guy?...i haven't seen it on FOX for a long time. Did they take it off air or sumthing?
