^I don't mean most popular among fans, I mean song that gets the most radio play, songs just average people who don't actually know anything about a certain band would identify with the band, which "Brick" pretty much is, at least among people I know (when I mention Pink Floyd to someone who doesn't know who they are, most understand after I sing the first line), and certainly hear it on the radio more often than any other by them

I mean, it makes sense in the grand scheme of things, but it's pretty misleading.

second thing that comes to mind, which in hindsight should have been the first thing, but wasnt because it doesn't really count, because they basicly have 2 different careers - the early days and hip hop. (hope that makes sense) :

Yeah How Soon Is Now being used for multiple TV shows/movies and covered a million times here in the US, whereas This Charming Man is...basically obscure to the average person. It's true, I asked them.

Yeah, How Soon Is Now is their biggest song and really the only well-popularized Smiths song to the average person.

it's kinda stupid to post this cause I'm sure this is not the most well known can song anymore but the fact that they were on top of the pops is hilarious:

I was thinking of putting Istanbul, but honestly I'm not sure how it "doesn't fit" TMBG's normal sound, except that it's a cover.

"Boss Of Me" is actually probably their best known song... if you don't count the fact that most people don't know that it's TMBG. And it isn't quite representative of their normal sound.

Yeah...I'd go with "Boss Of Me"

Again it isn't TOTALLY against what TMBG are about...but it's definitely kind of a...dumb song? And just not up to par with about 99% of their regular stuff.
