Unwatched DVD purchases

Just to check if anyone else has any of these, or is it just me.

Ok the DVDs I am about to list are ones I have bought and have never even attempted to watch.

So don't post ones which you started to watch and then realised sucked. Also don't post recent purchases that you haven't gotten around to watching yet.

All these I have owned for more than a year.

crouching tiger hidden dragon
This was the second DVD I ever bought about 6 years ago. Went about a year without watching it and then not watching it became more of a OCD sort of thing

sleepers
Was cheap [£3] and has a shed load of stars in it so I don't know why I haven't watched this one yet

godfather trilogy
I have seen the first 2 films on TV yet my Boxset remains in it's plastic unwatched.

deja vu
Again I have seen it but only thought it was meh. The reason I have it on DVD is because I bought it for someone for a present and then forgot to bring it and ended up getting them something else last minute (Another copy of the same DVD as it turned out

trust the man
it's a boy girl thing

I bought these 2 because I was first dating my girlfriend her english was not as perfect as it is now and I misunderstood the type of films she liked and thought she was only into chick flicks. So I quickly bought these 2 in some random ass, small dvd shop with little choice. She came over to my place and to my surprise and delight she chose to watch 'primal fear'.

seasons 3 and 4 of fraiser

Bought the first 4 seasons and got through the first 2 and then sort of lost interest. I like the show but when I am in the mood to watch something funny I usually choose something else.

deathproof
Have had this about a year. Was a present and just not really been in the mood.

animal house
Was given to me by an American room mate who assured me it was "AWSOME!!!" Never really been that into National Lampoons

war of the worlds
Tom Cruise version. Have heard some terrible reviews of it and never really thought it was worth wasting 112 minutes of my life on.

All of the following I have bought on VCD when I was in Hong Kong because they were insanly cheap. For some I payed just HK$3 which works out to be about 36 cents. So I just bought up a load of them. They have irremovable mandarin subtitles and you have to change disc half way through the movie but what do you expect for 36 cents. I watched a lot of them but now they just sit in a cupboard away from my DVD collection and I don't even think of them.

irreversible
we were soldiers
4 rooms
d-tox
l4yer cake
collateral
kiss kiss bang bang
(With RDJ)
boogie nights
hostage
(BW version)
full metal jacket
and perhaps most bizzarly

taxi 2 french version with mandarin subtitles and I haven't seen the first one.

I know there are some classics in there that I should watch so I am open to suggestions to which you think I should watch.

i have the animation movie "Robots" for quite sometime without seeing it once. I bought it because it was so cheap and i like these kind of movies in general. But think i will watch it one day for sure.

uh there's probably like 50 in my collection that are still in plastic. i just have to be in the right mood to watch them and that time hasn't surfaced yet. but i still continue to buy more that also end up going on the unwatched pile for a few months

I saw letters from iwo jima in a original language cinema in France. The person I was with assured me that the film was directed by Clint Eastwood and that it would be n English with French subtitles.

Was a long 2 and a half hours

"Lady Snowblood 2"
"March of the Penguins" on Blu-ray
Hitchcock Collection Volume 1 & 2 - watched one of his films from it though, a late-twenties court drama called "Murder!", and I didn't like it at all

Heh, bought this one as well a few weeks ago and I haven't watched it yet either. I read somewhere it's over three hours long, so I guess that's what's putting me off it.

too many, unfortunately. I buy a lot, but because of my school schedule I'm lucky if I get in 2 or 3 movies a week. large portions of the summer are taken up by dvd watching though, so I'll catch up with a lot of the stuff I've bought during the year.

Newest dust gatherer,... Kung-Fu Panda. ..Whats the matter?? I loved this movie in the theater! (4x at the dollar discount cinema) why am I dragging my tail on this now? For some reason when I'm almost ready to pop it in the machine I think of something else to do.

Perhaps I saw it too much this summer and subconsciously I know that parting makes the heart grow fonder. I guess its wise of me to prevent myself from growing weary to fast at the things I love.

Godfather Part III

Other than that, it's mostly unrated versions of movies like Tropic Thunder (almost finished though),Knocked Up, and Talladega Nights.

run fat boy run I wouldn't bother. I have it and only managed to get half way through it. I thought it would be good with Simon Pegg, Hank Azaria and Dylan Moran but alas no.

28 weeks later I think is great, for me better than the first. Bit bigger budget and if you liked the first then I think it is worth a watch.

Die hard 1 is fantastic
Die hard 2 meh but worth watching
Die hard 3 better than 2, hope for the franchise yet
Die hard 4 should have quit at 3, waste of time
