jinx

what is that though?

i guess i could have specified on mine too.

first two are self explanatory and fairly well known, clint malarchuk in 89 and richard zednik just a couple weeks ago, both had their throats cut by skate blades, and both were just minutes away from death.

third is an arsenal player just recently who was tackled and obviously a disgusting broken leg was the result.

final one is jason kendall's ankle being severely shattered and was protruding through his skin when he slipped off the bag while running.

i wish i could find the picture of damion easley's "sprain" last year. i watched it live last year, and contemplated killing myself after seeing it. it hurt like hell to watch. five replays later, i almost felt sick.

David Busst - he required 26 operations. Never played again but at least he didn't have it amputated

Nothing special in the world of sports, but one of the worst cricket injuries caught on tape.

One of the only sports where it is safer to participate than be a spectator

And a famous one not mentioned yet

theismann injury made me cringe, still does. I think everyone knew it that career was over right after.

yeah, but the theismann injury wasn't as bad because of the element of humor that it was tinged with, since it was happening to a redskins player, and all.

ahaha. point taken. still the most disturbing injury I have seen in a game. usually any type of severe knee injury just makes me fall to the floor with sympathy pain.
