I can't decide whether or not they should remain on snl or not. it gives them publicity and allows them to air/create their music videos and what not, but they could easily release another album soon if they left.

whatever, still hilarity.

I find most of their songs only semi-funny, yet very catchy. Each song is better on re-listening. They help keep SNL watchable.

True but you'd also have to live life as a massive turd, which would suck if you had any level of self awareness.

I dunno, just can't get into these guys. They give off the "trying too hard" vibe. And Andy Samberg just comes off as a conceited dick to me

I've seen three videos, and the only one I found funny was jizz in my pants, but that one got ruined because one of my friends started playing it way too much. I'm on a boat is annoying as hell though, but I can at least stand most of their other songs.

I agree. I'm not sitting there laughing my ass off as I listen, but they do quite a good job at making music compared to someone like Weird Al, whose releases seem to be 110 percent based on the words in his lyrics. Lazy Sunday, Motherlover, Boombox, Jizz In My Pants, Just 2 Guyz and We Like Sportz are my favorites. Many people find the Guyz/Sportz videos to be extremely stupid, but I think they're very under appreciated. Society ruined I'm On a Boat, though.

too bad about not clearing that "iran so far" sample, easily one of their best songs.

i love it because it proves these guys can do more than just dick around (which they're also pretty great at). it's a different (and perhaps more conventionally sketch comedy-ish) style of humor for them, but it works just as well.

i hope they do a "santana dvx" video soon.

i agree. fred armisen's facial expressions really provide the biggest laughs for me.

that natalie portman rap a few years back was great too, if not for the pure shock value alone.
