Meyer was also in part responsible for the sensibilities of the classic era as well. I don't hate everything to do with Mike Scully, he wrote some great episodes and "fun facts" aside he seems like a nice person on the commentaries.

"Brother's Little Helper" is one of my favorites from the Scully years. You're trying to make this a black and white situation when it isn't. I wasn't the one who said they didn't laugh once during the Scully era.

I actually haven't listend to many commentaries from seasons 9-12. In any event it is a collaborative effort and if I happen to dislike a George Meyer joke then I guess I'm not a real fan of him then .

maybe because he was concentrating on futurama at the time so it's "new" to him?
