I don't love Itchy and Scratchy in the slightest.
Having said that, "Pinitchio" did make me laugh when I was in high school, and I went around saying "outchie!" in an Italian accent for a while.

i like that Harry Shearer laughed uproariously at itchy and scratchy cartoons.
My favorite is 'Bleeder of the pack'.
Seasons 1-9 - Classic era
10-12 - Scully era
13-16 - Silver age
16.5 - Into the abyss
17 - The shit abyss
18-24 - Zombie Simpsons
the i&s movie...well the 53% of new footage.

I can't remember the titles of all of them (and I'm too lazy to get my huge Simpsons World book and look them up) but I remember the one with the Space Needle and the one where Scratchy gets hit by the moon, along with perhaps "100 Yard Gash" as some really good ones.

I'm probably a terrible fan for saying this, but I never liked the Itchy and Scratchy shorts, even in the classic era.
The episodes about them are good though, "Itchy and Scratchy The Movie" and "Itchy and Scratchy Land" come to mind.

Naw, you're not a terrible fan. It's a funny paradox for me, too: I don't like I&S, but they do make for some good episodes, like "IItchy and Scratchy Land" and "The Day the Violence Died."
Actually, I do have a favorite short: "Itchy and Scratchy Meet Fritz the Cat" still makes me laugh every time!

It's in "The Day the Violence Died." They're watching it in the comic book store the night before the parade.

I consider any Itchy & Scratchy cartoon where they talk a failure. They used to be very good without ever having to say a word; now the writers have to make them talk all the time because they're not creative enough to tell a humorous story without the benefit of dialogue.
This is going to sound a bit random, but eh, it makes for an interesting post: I always liked the ones that were made for Virtual Springfield. That and the ones in The Front - particularly Little Barbershop of Horrors
I noticed that too when watching them all on Youtube. It starts to get a bit annoying around season 13 or 14.There were still some good ones to be found though
Butter off Dead - Itchy turns Scratchy into butter (Little Girl in the Big Ten)
Bleeder of the Pack - 50's teen film parody (C.E.D'oh)
The Battle of Slaughter-loo - Edited for prison viewing (The Wandering Juvie)
I also noticed that Mike Scully didn't use them very much and when he did use them, they were pretty forgettable
