This movie is amazing! The popcorn scene has got to be the best part, but it's all good. I have to say that it is very masterfully crafted. The director was clearly a genius, as are the phenomenal actors, who really capture their roles perfectly. Just a truly amazing movie. If only movies could be this good nowadays.

Considering how twisted your imagination can be I was stunned when I saw this comment.

My imagination isn't so much twisted as it is desensitized. Me and a lot of my friends grew up hearing the filthiest of jokes with some of the most disturbing premises and punchlines you could imagine (Be it something we heard a comedian talk about, or a TV show or simply from someone older). A good deal of these jokes were completely tasteless about topics like the disabled, death, rape, pedophilia and what have you. Then along with sites like Sickipedia years later comes a level of "What haven't I heard already?" that makes us try and top what has been said already by adding to it.

I guess that's why I enjoy comics like Frankie Boyle who have a pitch black sense of humor. I read his first book entitled "My shit life so far" which was an autobiography with added jokes about things like child rape and cancer sprinkled on top. It came out at the height of his career and was a UK best-seller. I then read his follow up book "Work! Consume! Die!" which was even darker in tone, it was a combination of the sort of material he writes for tabloid newspaper "The Sun" and an ongoing story about famous people getting raped when they sink below a certain level of stardom.

Clearly one would think that he's a disturbed man, but honestly, that's what I would want to make a living out of if I could. Relentlessly making jokes about people and subjects in the darkest manner possible and selling out venues because of it. Stuff like those screwed-up Simpsons episodes I thought of are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the sort of stuff I would love to throw out their in the name of all that is offensive and tasteless.
