Warner Bros and WWE Studios are teaming to co-produce an animated feature based on the "Scooby-Doo" franchise reports Wrestling News.

With WWE's involvement, the film's central mystery has the entire gang attending WrestleMania. When a mysterious ghostly bear appears and threatens to ruin the show, the gang must work with WWE Superstars to solve the case.

WWE's big names like Triple H, John Cena, Kane, The Miz, Brodus Clay, Santino Marella, Sin Cara, AJ Lee and Vince McMahon are all set to lend their voices and appear in animated form in the film.

Warner Bros Home Entertainment will distribute through Blu-ray, DVD, VOD and digital download.

That was a long time ago, but since then we are now in what is known as the "PG era" of the WWE, there's no swearing or over the top sexual moments.
From what I understand, the recent return of The Rock is planned to bring an end to the PG horseshit.

They try to make characters that seem like upstanding role models (John Cena and taglines like "Rise above hate") but we all know that when it comes to wrestling, this is what the audience wants to see.
