The Simpsons Writers Pick Their Ten Favorite Obscure Characters

Just-Stamp-the-Ticket Man, Baron Von Kiss-a-Lot, Hank Scorpio, and Bleeding Gums Murphy were my favorites.
Surprisingly, Joey Joe Joe and Yes Guy weren't in their list!

The Crime-Solving Boat
Just-Stamp-The-Ticket Man has appeared quite a few times. I think he punches a hippie for singing on the street but I can't remember which episode that is. I've always wanted to know his real name as well, so I'm a little disappointed that it's just 'Just-Stamp-The-Ticket Man'.

Work! Consume! Die!
The lack of "That's it back to Winnipeg" guy displeases me.

Just be thankful

I get a real kick out of the various Homer doppelgangers.

I beg celebrities for money!
I always thought they could have got more mileage out of Don Brodka.
edit: I'm disappointed they didn't include Cowboy Bob (from Call of The Simpsons)

Surprised at the lack of many funny one-time classic-era characters, such as two already mentioned that really deserved a spot: the female Homer doppelganger and Joey Joe Joe.

No joke, those are the exact two people I thought of when I read the thread's title.

Wow, that's something I could've lived a long, happy life without ever knowing it existed. What a stupid, stupid character.

And obscure? Hardly. That thing was an annoying headache of a phenomenon in 2007.

Where's Frank Grimes, Poochie, Roy, Sherry Boppins, Lester and Eliza? Those are wayyyy better than the Grumple and that willy wonka like character...
