Joan Jett and the Blackhearts is playing tonight at an outdoor concert but I won't go. I can't recall any other songs from them beside that song. Once a year they invite a band that hasn't done anything new since the 80's, but that's about as well-known as they come.
I saw Wyclef Jean in Montreal for a free show.
Malajube last year where I live.
Bela Fleck also here.
K-Os in Montreal also
I just don't go out of my way to see a band.
Jimmy Eat World x6
Jimmy Eat World cover band
Slayer!!!!!!!!!!! I first saw them 1996. Its 2012, and they still fucking kick ass. Best freaking mosh pit ever, if youre into that type of thing.
Im pretty sure u guys arent into mosh pits though.
I was in a mosh pit once and never will again. My temper got the worst of me and I sent a kid flying; my friend elbowed a kid in the nose!
In August I saw Suicidal tendencies live at MTL so I made a little video a few days ago...
Some local rock bands, mostly in small bars. I can't say any of them were amazing performances, but it always provides a pleasant night out.
I saw Hawkwind at a larger venue. And I also saw All The Young there. These were amazing shows. The acoustics in there are unusually good, the venue is still reasonably compact and the shape of the ceiling seems to bounce it around nicely.
And last month I was lucky enough to see the wonderful Radiohead at the O2 Arena in London.Which was a sensational concert. I'd have much preferred to see them at a smaller venue, but musically, it was utterly flawless. And as the last of a string of concerts back here in Britain, we were treated to an excellent setlist.
I thought I posted already in this thread, guess not.
