Based mostly on the pretty bland run of episodes we've had this season I'm gonna give this a 4/5. It wasn't really funny except for some isolated gags in the third act, but the sweetness factor with Fry and Leela's relationship at the end left me satisfied. In fact I thought the first act building that up and the last couple minutes with the resolution were the best things about the episode. I was very interested in seeing where they'd go with Fry supposedly dead in act 2 but the neanderthal stuff was underwhelming. Now that I think of it though Hermes Amy and Bender using the escape pod to avoid making Leela remember Fry was pretty funny too so maybe there were more funny things than I gave it credit for. Probably the second best of the season, hope they keep it up.

I didn't like it nearly as much as last weeks but it had a couple good moments! The ending with fry and Leela was sweet! I also liked how Bender ran past that table 4 times after Farnsworth had just made it around once...also
"3rd Place? This is the greatest injustice Germany has ever created!"
also "In spite of your over-whelming victory, let's call it a draw" (don't remember the exact line)
I'll give this episode a 3/5
M-E-H and once again Leela and Amy are dressed provocately (low cut blouses and slit skirts)!!!!
I liked this one! It was a refreshing wake-up from two straight weeks of sub-par episodes. It felt like a cross between The Sting and The Simpsons episode "Eternal Moonshine of the Simpson Mind," which was a weird combination, but it somehow worked!
I admired the fresh spin on Fry and Leela's relationship (in the sense that it actually had some depth) and also, for the first time in years, Fry was portrayed as being naive about the future! Bender's sausage subplot was also very entertaining and added a lot to the story.
My only real complaint was that the neanderthal stuff was very strange and only seemed like an excuse to get Fry as far away from Leela as possible.
That complaint aside, I'll still assign this episode an A- (5/5). Second best of the season, behind Baghead.

This episode wasn't great but it was better than a lot of the season so far. Compared to "The Six Million Dollar Mon", this is the next best episode of the season. 3/5.
if these episodes were properly funny, they'd be getting high marks from me on a regular basis. but they're not. 3/5
A fucking HUGE improvement from last weeks episode. This one had a good story, sweet moments and a good deal of funny stuff throughout.
Let's see here, stuff that really stuck out to me.
"Most folks just call me Orange Joe"
Fry's exclamations of "What the hell is going on here?!" and "Ach-du-freakin'-liber!"
"We were going out? WOO-HOO!"
"I ate my boyfriend"/"We've all been there"
The escape pod
The Homosapien woman whacking the Neanderthal with a bone
Scruffy's "Hot and homeless" magazine
"Oh Boo-Hoo! Why are you crying now you depressed lunatic!?"
Bender getting crushed by the mammoth
Line after line of great Zapp dialogue
Bender getting the other 2 contestants killed to steal their trophies and sashes
The Fry/Leela moments from old episodes appearing in Leela's head when she began to remember Fry
Fry and Leela's kiss followed by her dancing for him to the chicken dance.
Oh yeah, and for some reason the way the Neanderthals said the word "Inter-breeding" made me laugh.
So, yeah, 5/5. Definatly the best of the season thus far. I'm not surprised that this episode was said to be "The Emmy Shot"Here's hoping!
Just be thankful
That one was also really good and the end with Fry and Leela kiss was very cute3,75/5 => 4 in the poll.

Total classic.
"A shark on whiskey is mighty risky.. but a shark on beer.. is a beer engineer."
I thoughtit was a laugh riot, I loved the whole act of people trying not to remind leela of fry (that escape pod gag is one of the funniest futurama things ever), the big war between cavemen and futuredudes was actually pretty gripping (I liked how good the cavemen were at combat). just one of those episodes that's so crazy that only futurama could pull it off
everything before the sausage plot was introduced was pretty zzz though
