Yup
I can't believe that Skyler said that she wanted Walt's cancer to return! We (the audience) probably all wanted that to happen to him, but I definitely didn't expect her to say that. Go Skyler!

I will also say something about this episode!
Personally I don't want Walt to die!!! When I heard Skyler saying this I just said in my head: You're a f**king bitch Skyler. Also, she was so annoying in this episode... That was an awesome episode (the best of the season so far in my opinion).

just saw episode 5. holy shit. the last 5 minutes and the ending in particular made me tense, and i haven't been so tense since 'crawl space' last season. great stuff.
Love this Show Probably the best show on TV at the moment.

For clarification, I'm not saying the ending to last night's was as tense as the ending to Crawl Space; I'm just saying it made me pretty tense. It happens so fast and there has to be repercussions, so that should be fun to see.
I have to watch the fifth one!! I'll do it tonight!!!
Just watched the 5th, Serious heart pounding stuff.

what did you think of the 5th episode @AlexandreLeblanc?
Man, "Dead Freight" was such a rollercoaster of emotions. I felt so tense when Big Trucker dude helped clear the tracks off and Walt kept going... so triumphant when they were actually successful, and then very "oh SHIT" when the kid popped up and then "what NO HOLY SHIT DON'T FUUUUUUUUUCK" at the very end. Jesse's reactions were pretty much what the audience is thinking along with him.
There was so much great stuff in the episode though. Walt faking tears to Hank in the beginning, somehow knowing that it would drive Hank out of the room was a great example of the lengths Walt goes to for anything now. At this point he's completely willing to throw Skyler under the bus. He already has Marie's sympathy because Skyler cheated on him, and now he'll have Hank's too. I feel really bad for Jr. (lol "Emo McGee") now, because he's basically been kept in the dark about everything for the entire series. I wonder if Walt will eventually try to turn Jr. against Skyler, too. I'll be shocked if he doesn't, actually.
Jesse screaming "YEAH BITCH!!!" never doesn't make me smile.
For the fifth episode, Dead Freight, I think it's largely the best of the season so far. At first, when Walt goes into Hank's office, it did not work with me, I immediately guessed that it was there to do something ... Subsequently, as in the first episode, it's Jesse who has the idea that will save everyone. I start to think that it is simply a genius hahaha. The whole train scene is simply amazing and I love stress like this during an episode, it was just excellent and I am 100% satisfied of this episode.

I think it's safe to assume that a topic like this is going to have spoilers, so if you don't wanna be spoiled at all; don't read this post.
"everybody wins"
the "fuck you" note Mike wrote
that dinner scene
OK, minor spoilers. Whatever. Can't wait to see what Walt's plan is. Only 2 episodes left this half season![]()
Anyone else think Walt is too much of a cartoon villain now? I'm afraid that before the season ends he'll be laughing maniacally at the end of every scene.
Im thinking that the spider in a jar, is gonna have some kind of importance later on. Fingerprints, perhaps.
This show was meant to be like Scarface, so I can totally see Walt going fucking crazy, like Al Pacino did in Scarface.

I've been predicting Mike's death a couple episodes now, but Walt being the one to do him in? Shit. And then at the end, realizing he didn't even need to die, but it was too late. Damn.

HOLY SHIT again
I figured it would happen before the end of the series, but I thought Mike had a little bit more time.

I wish this got the traffic the thread at boards and rec gets.
Good summer finale, I thought. The ending was kinda predictable (Hank finally figuring it out), but it was handled in a way that was unpredictable. So... I dunno what I'm trying to say. Is it summer 2013 yet
Damnit, show. You can't just leave it like that until next summer.

I was kinda expecting it to end like that
Yes same thing for me but I can't imagine that we have to wait one year for episode 9...

I think I read somewhere that Bryan Cranston is directing the 9th episode.
So that's something to look forward to

Overall impressions of season 5 so far? For me, season 4 was better, although it seems like this year's episodes have been mostly buildup.
Yes episode 10-11-12-13 of season 4 were a little bit better but we just watch the first half of season 5 yet and I guess that the second half of season 5 will be better than season 4...

rankings:
4, 2, 3, 5(At this point), 1.
I have almost no doubt that next summer 5 will move up to either third or second, but I'm not sure if they can top 4. They set the bar extremely high
