For whatever it's worth, the Ke$ha opening was FOX's fault. FOX had some kind of promotional thing going on that week and incorporated songs into all of their shows (I assume it had something to do with Glee or American Idol). Maybe The Simpsons didn't have time to put together something better. I agree that it was terrible though (The opening, not the episode as a whole). I like current Simpsons most of the time, but even I couldn't defend that mess.
