    That's what it was!

The one where Timmy wishes for no sound is pretty solid too. The payoff about the exploding clothes with Crocker is pretty great.

I used to think this show was hilarious! But then again, it was one of the better kids' cartoons on terrestrial TV here. After a certain point you had to hope it was reruns of FOP or SpongeBob and not something truly awful. This is one of the shows that I liked despite being quite abstract, and that was what made it so funny. Don't know if it would really hold up now - at that point in my life we only got Simpsons reruns (which were considered undisputably the best thing on telly). I do remember there being some things that were funnier once I got older, so I have some hope that it's watchable as an adult...

Eh.. This was never my kinda show. Had to many annoying and loud characters. Nearly everyone except Wanda and Timmy behaved like hyperactive mental patients with no self control.

I haven't seen the Jimmy Timmy Power Hour specials in a while. I don't know if they or Jimmy Neutron hold up well with me now.

That was made well past the point the series became terrible.

I saw the episode in which Dad and Mom have 'evil' counterparts (the souvenir bandits) which I believe was an episode alongside the Star Wars 'parody'.

Both episodes are pretty bad compared to some of the series' best IMO.

Is that where Timmy and his dad visit the pencil sharpener museum?

I quite liked this show as a kid, but got tired of it. Every plot goes like this:

Timmy is sad > Timmy wishes problem away > Timmy enjoys wish > Things start going wrong > Timmy tries to unwish > Can't unwish because of "Da Rules" > Finds way to get around "Da Rules" > Everything back to normal.

I randomly thought of one Mr. Crocker line from an episode for the first time in years today. He's teaching/trying to make the kids miserable and hive gives AJ, I think that's the smart kids name, all these impossible questions. I remember finding the line reading as he shouts, "WHAT IS THE SOUND OF ONE HAND CLAPPING!?" to be rather hysterical.

It's true that the show does have that formula in every episode, although the 'can't unwish because of Da Rules' can sometimes change into 'Cosmo and Wanda are kidnapped, powerless and/or incompetent' which is then followed by 'Timmy rescues Fairies or one gets competent enough to do the job'

I think that episode was the one where Timmy goes back in time to see why Crocker's the way he is now.

Almost every Crocker reading is hilarious.

All 3 of them were at least a couple years before that live action crap, but I never really cared for any of them honestly.

Last but totally least, the baby looks like a reject enemy from Super Mario World.

Why is everyone so happy? Did their favorite episode of ''Queer Eye for the Straight Guy'' just come on? What's up with that?

Everything on the poster looks like it was shoved in there so the movie would look exciting, when it actually looks like my drug induced nightmares.

Years after the original series, Timmy Turner has grown into a twenty-three-year-old man, but through maintaining a lifestyle considered immature for someone of his age he has managed to keep his fairy godparents. However, Timmy's refusal to mature greatly irritates his parents.
Are they talking about Timmy Turner or Savage Steve Holland?

    Come on.

They believe that if they put little to no effort into it, then all the children will take it in like cocaine with fairy dust added in. Well you know what? I think you're trying too hard to maintain an audience, so you've created a product that is a mess beyond fixation. Also, why does it need to be live action? Huh? Because they want it to seem unique? I've got a little message for you Savage Steve Holland, and that is that no one ever asked for a live action version of this show. Nor did they ask that you direct it!

I hope nothing beyond the proportions of this is ever created.

A Fairly Odd Movie 2: Fairly Odd Christmas (2012)
    ...

I'M SURE NOBODY ASKED FOR A SEQUEL EITHER.

What is wrong with you, man? It must be something, because you had this messed up mind that said it wanted a sequel to a jumbled up mess of a children's movie! Are you proud of yourself? Are you proud that you're a part of the problem with cinema nowadays? I bet you already have over fifteen sequels planned for this idiotic film you've made. Your page also tells us about the new film you've been working on. Y'know, about the father who for some reason still bothered remember his bad 13th birthday party, so he tries to make his son's extra special. Oh man, what a complex plot, and by that I mean that is the worst plot for any movie that has ever been made EVER.

I'm sorry, but I can't stress enough how much I hate people like this.

some of my friends at tv.com seemed to like this with the consensus being "better than it looked."

but considering it looked like absolute shit, i doubt that's saying much

I still like The FOP but the live action movie was so fucking terrible I felt like they just raped one of my favorite children cartoons and when I found out about the sequel, man was I pissed and I still am. I'm sure this sequel will be even worse then the original.

To be honest I was surprised that FOP is still going today. I thought it ended in 2007!
