I'm completely indifferent to Angry Birds. Wait, that doesn't make for an interesting post...

It's a little hard to imagine that these T-shirts and hoodies are so widely purchased that it's become annoying. Hell, I own three Family Guy tees for virtually no reason that I bought years ago from HMV and have only ever met one person who owned any of those. Maybe it's different in the states or wherever. But as far as I'm concerned, AB is just an insanely popular rip-off of an existing flash game which maintains its appeal by conforming to the latest touch-screen technology and including bright colours and "cute" characters. Just like Farmville is an insanely popular rip-off of... I can't even pretend I care what, but the principle stands that the original games had some sort of half-formed and interesting mechanic that someone thought was good enough to try and improve. (Admittedly in the case of Zynga titles, there's no improvement present - no idea about AB.) I agree that no one will give a shit in four years. The market is oversaturated with unmemorable games now that discs and cartridges aren't needed.

it's just... why a movie? is it even going to be popular 4 years from now? sooner or later there's probably going to be a new hot addicting app that will overtake AB. i don't see it relevant or popular 4 years from now; it's a game a lot of people play/care about, now. but a few years from now? but what do i know.

after this there's probably going to be a tv series or something. i just... don't know.

They're probably making the movie so people will still remember it in 2016. That's the only logical explanation.

I've happened to see commercials for that show before when I've turned on Nickelodeon because Classic Spongebob was on, and with no hyperbole, I can say that that will be the worst show ever.
