No, the simpsions is far too profitable to not be on DVD, even the later seasons.

Whatever IS the last season, will be the last season released on DVD/Blu Ray/whatever, and it will.

KOTH meanwhile had poor sales as well, that's why they stopped putting extras in there and not even releasing season 6 outside of America.
Simpsons is just a money maker through and through. I guarentee DVDs will keep being made once the series is (eventually) put in its grave.

the first season of the simpsons was one of the best selling dvds, and i can only imagine how good the show sells. it's probably one of the best selling shows on dvd ever.
they'd be foolish not to release them all eventually. sure, sales probably aren't as high, but they're probably still better than most DVD sales

I predict by 2015, they'll still be deciding when to release Season 15.
Then by 2016, they'll give up and stop releasing DVDs.
