Dan Greaney's the best.

nah, Community is awful.

You've either only seen the early season 1 episodes or jumped into the series too late.
Of course if you did neither of these, we all have different tastes...
yeah i started watching the series when it aired. got about 5 episodes in, then stopped.

lol, episode 6 is the first episode I actually thought was decent.
episode 9 and onwards is the shit. try it out some time.
Yeah, Community is very underrated but incredible. Very funny

An interesting choice. Certainly not as good as the older sitcoms but a decent choice from the last decade or so. Although it went downhill quickly when some of the main cast left the show and the characters started to dry up near the end of the show. The last season of That 70's Show is atrocious!
A very strong show at the beginning and the middle of it's lifespan. At it's peak all the characters had their role and chemistry and played a part in an interesting and clever storyline and 70's satire. It could sneak into my top 10 but SpongeBob's classic era is simply too brilliant for me!

adding Tosh.O to my list.
it's a stupid show with an interesting (or at least semi-interesting) concept, and every episode has made me laugh numerous times, so there's that.

hey @lionelhutz123 is s6 of Dexter any good? I remember people on boards and rec complaining about it, and apparently the 'twist' is pretty easy to predict by the time it rolls around. I'm always a good season behind so I need to watch s6 sometime, but is it worth it?
it's my least favorite season, but nowhere near as bad as nerdgroupies made it out to be. I watched it again with three of my friends and they never saw the "twist" coming. I mean they never even thought of it and it's not that they're stupid or anything. It's just that they watched it in more of a close marathon, rather than spending their time speculating on forums each week after an episode airs, where if one theory gets out by someone, then all of a sudden everyone has the same theory or at least inevitably keeps it in mind.
Not to compare it to the quality of breaking bad, but even season 4 in a way suffered from the same concept on the forums: someone posting a screenshot and theory of walt using the "lilly of the valley" plant to poison brock Obviously, that wasn't as bad, considering the reveal was in the next episode, being the finale, but it's really the same thing except dexter relied on their secret skating undetected for a big chunk of the season. Also, it's not IMPOSSIBLE to predict either, but reading about it on the forums during episode 2 is something that didn't really help.
If you went into that thread or any other forum and know what it is, then it will make the reveal come off in a very disappointing and underwhelming way, but other than that, it's not a terrible season at all. Just incredibly average alot of the time. It has it's worthwhile moments though and I think after you watch it, no matter what your opinion is, you will be glad you stuck it out, because there's definitely some interesting developments throughout that season that have nothing to do really with the main plot.
It makes me wonder what people prefer when it comes to watching tv shows though. Week to week communal discussion, where everyone gets to share inspiring ideas and analysis or the surprise factor of watching a season of a series in more of a marathon where any speculation comes only from you or a friend.

the twist at the end of breaking bad's 4th season would've made me shit myself if someone at boards and rec hadn't suggested that. i wish i could go and not look at that thread during the next season, but they are good at picking up stuff i either forgot or didn't catch myself.
Yeah, it's not like I'm going to wait for the entire season of breaking bad to come out before I start watching, so the discussion during the week before each next episode is something that's quite enjoyable and holds you over. In fact, it's an experience of it's own, but I don't think I will be as active as I was last season over there. Perhaps just for general discussion, but I definitely want to be careful of what I read.
