The American. never really saw much of the British.

i guess. but there are other shows i enjoy watching some of the time, like Family Guy, which wouldn't be anywhere near one of my favorite shows

cool. i've got all the whole series on dvd.

ryan and colin have some great jokes in the uk one, but overall it's much less enjoyable.

yeah i guess you have a point (i like watching 1-4 seasons of family guy. it might come close to my favourite shows, just for those seasons.)

I used to watch Whose Line all the time. pretty much every joke made me laugh. i watched an episode on youtube (along with various clips) and it still is really funny.

I've said it in the past, but when I just wanna sit down, relax and watch a comedy, and not care about what I'm watching, Family Guy's the way to go. Don't watch it for the 'smart' humor, that's for sure

i'm just gunna list shows i like 'cos ranking them would be difficult. plus i still have loads of shows on my mental 'watch list' to watch at some point (curb, larry sanders, breaking bad, seinfeld, the wire, etc) which could probably crack the list.

    favourites:
    the simpsons
    mad men
    the sopranos
    the office (uk)
    the ricky gervais show
    flight of the conchords
    twin peaks

other shows i enjoy but aren't favourites:
arrested development, futurama, QI, arthur, grandma's house, misfits, come dine with me (guilty pleasure), etc.

Between A&E and OLN, it has to be on at least 12 hours a day. It's hard to not watch it.

    1. The Simpsons (I can't put it any lower than 1, even though seasons 10-23 exist)
    2. The Office (Prefer the US version, but it really should have ended)
    3. LOST
    4. Buffy the Vampire Slayer
    5. Veronica Mars (WATCH IT.)
    6. Six Feet Under
    7. Battlestar Galactica (remake)
    8. Breaking Bad
    9. Mad Men
    10. Dexter

Also Futurama, but IDK how I would rank it

This is in no particular order, except for The Simpsons which is at #1

I agree, 2-3 were the best. It was hit-and-miss for seasons 4-7 (4 was during the writer's strike, I liked 5 and 7, and 6 pretty much sucked), but then after Steve Carell left, it wasn't really worth watching at all, except for a few episodes here and there.

  28. #27

yeah 1-4 were great too me. at least in the later seasons it was still watchable when carell was still there. but yeah, as soon as he left, the show got un-watchable for me.
