Obviously... Not voting for it though
When do they narrow it down, or are they really gonna pick from 30 something series? Regardless, of the FOX shows and South Park and Futurama nominated Holidays of Future Passed was genuinely the best episode imo. I can't say for the other series I don't watch like Archer, but my gut tells me the Simpsons should have this one. Again regardless though at least Jean actually picked the best episode of the season for once.

The five nominees will be announced on July 19.
For those of you who saw the list and asked, "Where's Family Guy?", once again FG has been entered as a comedy series (and this year, it makes sense, as the writers of "Be Careful What You Fish For" have entered the Comedy Series Writing category).
Ah, thanks good sir!

Squidbillies is entered in the "short-format animation" ("about" 15 minutes or less) category, as are Robot Chicken and China, IL.
For those of us who remember a few years ago when they decided not to give any of the nominees in "short format animation" an Emmy - and not bother mentioning this during the Creative Arts ceremony, or in the press release of winners - the rules changed last year, and now there must be a winner.
Aqua Teen had a better year though.
Allen Gregory...
But didn't Family Guy get to submit four episodes to the best comedy award? How come all these people get one?
The choice for American Dad is a pretty bad episode. Hated that one.
"There's a couple of things they don't teach you in Harvard Business School. One is how to cope with defeat; the other is how to handle a shotgun. I'm going to do both right now."
That was the best episode of the season though.

"That's it, Stan's dead! Good night!"
Huh. I would have thought that they would pick Overclockwise or Cold Warriors for Futurama.
Still, this episode deserves to win (although that Community episode was really awesome).

Alien Gregory is the most pointless nomination of all.
And for the first time in a very long time, I'm rooting for The Simpsons.
Yeah both American Dad and Futurama definitely could've nominated better episodes. I just about hated that Hot Tub episode and Zoidberg was "okay."
Futurama could've had a much better choice. Law and Oracle? Overclockwise? Möbius Dick? Cold Warriors? No, Tip of the bloody Zoidberg. It's still a decent episode but definitely one of my least favourites of the second half of season 6.
However I'm rooting for South Park's Cash For Gold. Such a perfect choice - the episode was a combination of hilarity and absolute mockery of a scheme that has been plaguing the minds of old people for a while now. Holidays of Future Passed is actually a good choice for The Simpsons and would be my second of the choices

"I got blisters on me fingers!" ~ Ringo Starr (Helter Skelter)
Led Zeppelin IV > Houses of the Holy > Physical Graffiti > Led Zeppelin II > Led Zeppelin I > Led Zeppelin III > Presence > In Through the Out Door > Coda
Based on what's in the list of entrants, here's my top 10 "What I wanna see win" list
1st choice - "Hot Water" (American Dad)
2nd choice - "Holidays of future passed" (The Simpsons)
3rd choice - "The tip of the Zoidberg" (Futurama)
4th choice - "Cash for Gold" (South Park)
5th choice - "BurgerBoss" (Bob's Burgers)
6th choice - "Werewolves Of Highland / Crying" (Beavis and Butt-Head)
7th choice - "Karl's day" (The Ricky Gervais show)
8th choice - "All you can eat" (The Cleveland show)
9th choice - "Mark loves dick" (Ugly Americans)
10th choice - "Fight Club paradise" (Robot Chicken)
The only other show on there that just missed out on my top 10 picks was "Space Race (Part 1)" (Archer).
Just be thankful
Well, Beavis and Butthead has never received an Emmy nomination in the past. The only award nomination they got was for an CableACE award back in 1994.
Personally, I would like to see B&B get nominated this year.
B&B deserves an emmy at some point, although I wish they went with The Rat/Spill. Bob's Burgers definitely picked a great one though, I loved Burgerboss. Futurama's pick was pretty weak, as was South Park's (why not Cartman Finds Love?), and American Dad's was just okay. The Simpsons picked a good one; I'd nominate either that or The Book Job.
Anyone who thinks Beavis and Butthead deserve a Razzie is completely missing the humor in the movie.
Razzies are for "worst achievments". B&B Do America "earned" the dou nominations for Worst New Star (a category no longer awarded) and Worst Screen Couple (I don't think the two of them are even remotely gay lovers). Anyway, I understand the Razzies even less than the Oscars.

the one south park i haven't seen from this season
hoping simpsons wins. it would be a deserved winner. but i kinda doubt it
Haven't seen that one or Faith Hilling either.

Faith Hilling is probably my favorite of the first run of the season. That or Cartman's In Love.
I just watched "Hot Water" and my respect for Cee-Lo Green has decreased significantly.
