The Monkey Suit was a Season 17 outing dealing primarily with Flanders and Lisa clashing over evolution. Written by J. Stewart Burns it is, imo, a rather good episode. Perhaps most well known about it though is that it came in short and so a rather long deleted scene from Season 14's I'm Spelling As Fast As I Can was added to it as a beginning. The term monkey suit means a court case revolving around monkeys, often associated with the Theory of Evolution. Of course it is also a reference to the famous Scopes Monkey Trial from the 1920s where three time Democratic Nominee for President William Jennings Bryan argued in support of creationism. Anywho:
