    @Jesse Pinkman
    well......the plots are boring, the animation is flat and terrible. no jokes land, they are just straight cringe-worthy. if you think the new simpsons is bad, ha-how, you ain't seen nothing yet. instead of wasting your time on new futurama, watch something good.

    the comedy central run is just a huge mixed bag. in simpsons terminology, you never know if you'll get a season 4 or season 11 or season 18 episode. it's all over the map. but even the bad episodes have tons of amazing jokes and that makes it worthwhile

    compared to current simpsons it's night and day

    Like Dobbie said, I generally don't dislike any episode of Futurama. Heck, you could say the same about current Simpsons as well. Its characterizations remain consistent as they were before the show was cancelled except for a few, for example In-A-Gadda-Da-Leela and its writing is incredible. The maths equation used in The Prisoner of Benda is quite complicated and would take a mathematical genius to figure out. I like Futurama before and now. My opinion will never change on such a brilliant and one of the most clever animated shows on TV

    @Jesse Pinkman It's a shame you don't watch the show anymore but I understand your reasoning. I defiantly wouldn't say what @Jerkass Homer has said but I still think the best thing for you to do with wait until the run is over then decide on a few of the best to watch (There's always at least four that will defiantly entertain...)

    If Futurama was properly funny then I'd probably like it a lot more than I do. But it just doesn't make me laugh.

    Honestly, I still enjoy the new Futuramas. I'll admit they aren't as good as the old FOX show, but I think a lot of that may come from nostalgia. It does for me, anyway. The only horrible episodes during these past few seasons were the first few of the revival show IMO. Rebirth was craptacular, In-a-Gadda-Da-Leela is the worst of the series IMO, Attack of the Killer App highlights a huge problem with the show trying way too hard to be "modern," Proposition Infinity was also barf-inducing, and The Duh-Vinci Code was the first decent episode and when the show started to pick up.

    You're missing out on too much quality!

    Buy the first 5 seasons on DVD and spend your entire weekend on it, you won't regret it!

    Take out volumes 4 and 5 and then you might have a good time.

    I completely expected Devil's Hands. It is truly one of the best episodes. The Sting is an example of how bad the characters are in this show, and that there's no need for Hermes or Amy really at all.

    Jerkass Homer has probably shed any sort of credibility in this thread after suggesting that Volumes 1 and 2 of Futurama were the best seasons. Volumes 3 and 4 are just lightyears ahead of what 1 and 2 were. Season 1 only has maybe 3 or 4 really good episodes in it, the rest are pretty average. Volume 2 is pretty decent, I guess.

    Dark Homer has it right. The new seasons are definitely more inconsistent than some of the prior seasons but it has never even been close to reaching the crappy lows of Jean Era Simpsons.

    Volumes 1 and 2 were more consistant in quality then 3 and 4, but the best episodes of 3 and 4 were a lot better the best of 1 and 2.

    And How Hermes Requisitioned His Groove Back is my second favourite episode of the 2nd season.
